Season two of 'Stranger Things' has wrapped filming:

The first season is on my Netflix watchlist, I really need to get round to watching it I have heard it's good.

It's damn good. I flew through it the first day of release, and will likely do the same with the second season (especially with how big it's gotten, want to avoid spoilers).

I heard it evokes films like Goonies, Standby Me and similar 80's films, I'll watch the first episode later at work. Luckily I have managed to avoid spoilers.

I must admit I stopped watching Big Bang Theory when the one who lived with his mum went into space.

Oh wow, I read that as a joke, and didn't expect it to actually be real. Big Bang jumped the shark after about the first four or five years, and Sheldon jumped along with it (which is a shame, as he's the best part of it). Can't say I'll be tuning in.

Me neither I am suprised the Big Bang Theory is still going, occasionally I see it whilst channel hoping the episodes blur into one another. Hollywood making a Sheldon spin off are once again showing what great original writers are around today.

Network TV in the states and CBS as a whole usually just chain themselves to an idea and ride it out even beyond the point where there are any interesting stories to tell with the characters. NBC, Fox and ABC seldom get any ideas off the ground period and cancel shows quite frequently, whereas CBS doesn't have a bad success rate at all and always have a lot of content on their channel. The only issue is that they never know when to end things! We are seeing this with Big Bang, just as the newest example.

I get that Sheldon is the most popular character, but I don't see a spinoff about him lasting more than a season. I just feel like the main show has milked enough about his past, leave it at that.

    My first thought was:
    You_Must_Be_Joking3f0aq.jpg

Then I read the article. WOW! I rarely bother using my TV time on sitcoms, as nothing tops Seinfeld anyway. Still, the first few seasons of Big Bang Theory wasn't too bad. After a while, I just stopped. Being CBS, I can see them giving this a few seasons, but man, I would almost rather have them produce yet a CSI spinoff. Will not be tuning in to this.

Absolutely. It'll just be twenty episodes of Sheldon's mother yelling at him for calling her a religious fool, interspersed with the obligatory references to comic books and weak science.

    4 new episodes of Luther.

    http://www.darkhorizons.com/luther-returns-for-a-fifth-season/
Idris Elba will reprise his role of London homicide detective John Luther in a new four-part fifth season of The BBC’s “Luther”.

Creator Neil Cross is on board to shepherd the production, set to begin early next year on BBC and BBC America. Cross tells Variety he and Elba decided there was a great deal of “unfinished business” for the character to tackle in a new batch of episodes:

“Because we love John and wonder what he’s up to. In the end, we picked up the phone to some old friends and asked if they’d like to find out what happens next. It turns out, they would. So that’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to find out what happens next.”

The series first premiered in 2010 and has grabbed seven Emmy nominations to date. The most recent fourth season aired in December 2015.

In The Netherlands we get last 2 episodes in March this year (2017), but i don't watched it, because the last episode of so speak S3 i watched in March 2014 (original be in January/February 2014.)

Music to my ears! Luther is one of my all-time favorites, and I'm happy to hear that production is already going on more episodes!

'John Wick' TV series will be titled 'The Continental,' and will focus on lots of different characters from the hotels across the globe; Keanu Reeves expected to make a cameo at some point, but it will not be a John Wick-focused series.

This indeed could be interesting. These are not hotels in which boring people check in.

This is true. I've no idea what to expect from this, but I'll gladly check it out, especially if Chad Stahelski is heavily involved and possibly directing some of the episodes. Now the only question is: where will it end up? I'd hope a premium channel (such as HBO) or something that requires a subscription such as Netflix.

I had hoped this would be coming sooner rather than later. 'Ozark' has been picked up for season two by Netflix:

You've got me wanting to watch this, @Creasy47, but the new Marvel content is coming out and I'm not caught up on Luke Cage or Iron Fist to watch it as first priority. Does Netflix think I'm made of time?!
