  • A real crying shame to lose GoldenEye to the aliens, but it would be more of a shame to lose Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough. TWINE stands alongside OHMSS as one of my two all-time favorites of the series and TND runs neck-and-neck with GoldenEye for me in primo Top 10 territory.

As for Die Another Day, I'm already of the belief that aliens hijacked the production of the 20th James Bond film in the form of a cross-dressing Kiwi, à la Men in Black, and systematically destroyed what might otherwise have been a powerful Moonraker-inspired (Mondays Are Hell, not '79) swan song for Brosnan. So no real change there.

Fortunately I get to keep two top-notch actioners from the Golden 90s, and I'll still get to vicariously live out GoldenEye on my dusty old N64 when nostalgia bites. I couldn't imagine an outcome more purely full of win. Thanks again, aliens!

Good idea to list them all up, mine would be the complete opposite:

    FRWL
    TB
    DAF
    GE
    DAD
    CR
    SP

I now realize my bottom two made this list and I don't even mind. God, I love these series :))

Just watched GE and it's settled. I can't live without Goldeneye (but I already knew that). Only the score lets it down. But Campbell directs the actors so well and it's filmed very cleverly. Little things like explaining Xenia is a ex-soviet fighter pilot so it makes sense she commands the Tiger.

Nicked the idea from @M_Balje back when.

We do have completely opposite lists! There really is something for everyone in the wide world of cinematic Bond!

TND and TWINE. GE is decidedly average and DAD is the worst film in the series.

Are we to pick TLD or LTK then? There is a full thread dedicated to it.

The aliens returned from their holiday on Risa.

Now they are on to the next two options of which you shall choose one.

    You can keep either:
    Option One: The Daltons TLD-LTK
    ...or...
    Option Two: The Lazenby OHMSS

    Choose wisley.

The Daltons. OHMSS would've ended up maybe being given to Tim instead, say in 1991.

The Daltons. LTK and OHMSS don't rank highly for me, but TLD is worth saving.

It would be a shame to lose OHMSS, but my loyalty is to 'Our Lord & Saviour Timothy Dalton'.

OHMSS is worth two ordinary Bond films, and three or four bad ones.
Either way you feel towards the Dalton films, they're toast in this contest!

My favourite film against my favourite actor.

I will choose a Swiss solution. I'm utterly neutral.

And so all three films are destroyed, haha?

For me, OHMSS. My all-time #1. Though it pains me to lose LTK which has long stood as my #3, and TLD has many wonderful parts itself.

    ^This.

OHMSS is the easy choice. Pure Fleming magic.

    OHMSS
A real gem and the only Bond with considered a "cult classic."
