Looking sharp – Daniel that is; the watch, not so much…

    It really is awful.

    It really is awful.

Indeed. Don't like the big dots indicating the numbers. Looks childishly big, IMO.

And actually counter-intuitive to their original purpose, I feel. The digits on the bezel were already a tad too big for my liking, too.

Definitely agree. Smaller digits would have made the bezel less "busy".

    Edit: sorry, @jake24!

I think we may be suprised with the composer. Just my gut feeling. Surprising meaning maybe Cary has worked with him or her before, or not, or only once. I am not familiar with all of his work. There may be a composer he has always wanted to work with that we are not thinking of. Just a thought.

I've got to be honest, the Seamaster is one of the worst watches I have ever owned. I had it for 3 years and it was great. Sent it to Omega for a service and a replacement bracelet. Then about 6 months later it started doing a 30 second minute. Back again, extensive rebuild came back and was good for a further 6 months. They asked me if I worked in a magnetised area - erm...nope? Started doing the same thing again 12 months later. At £300 a rebuild, it was pretty expensive to maintain. I had it fixed a fourth time and then put it away. Don't think I've worn it in about 4 years. In stark contrast, my GMT Master and Submariner have never put a foot wrong and compared with the Omega, they've actually appreciated in value.

We have a thread for this, but I guess a very slow week start may oblige for a little derivation. I've had my PO 42mm for 10 years now, never left my wrist and it never dropped a second. Physically, it has banged walls and desks and faces and it doesn't have a single scratch. It's an helluva watch and the only timepiece I want for my lifetime.

Bold prediction about Daniel Craig's onscreen fitness level, circa February 2020:

He'll walk on the screen, and we'll believe he's...James Bond.

    ;)

Of all my concerns about Bond 25 Craig's shape has to be the least important. I've no doubts that Craig will be in perfect shape when filming starts, as he's always been. I'm more concerned about the script, the cast, the action and the music, for example.

Any chances we could get any news this Friday for Global James Bond day?

Also, Justin Kroll tweeted “Next week could be fun.” That was posted on the 28th. Could he be alluding to the 5th?

I doubt it, tbh. What would they even announce at this stage anyway? Fukunaga's departure?

They'll announce that B25 was secretly shot last year and they've just been screwing with us to build anticipation.

Better still: They’ll announce that it was filmed secretly in 2004 as Brosnan’s fifth entry, and is being released now as Bond 25.

I wish they hadn't whacked Mathis. A great character.

This is the biggest mistake of the Craig era.
