The Interview: actor Ben Whishaw on coming out, being a twin and life inside the 007 circus

Perhaps his best known role is Q in the Bond films Skyfall (2012) and Spectre (2015). As soon as he’s finished his Marilyn, he will begin shooting the next one, though no one in a Bond movie can tell you in advance what it’s going to be like. “I think they’re probably trying to figure out what to do with the storyline,” he says. “At least I know that my character is the same. Someone did tell me there might be a scene with Q’s cats.”
I don't understand why EON is treating their actors this badly. Neither Fiennes nor Wishaw has any idea what they will do in Bond 25. Wouldn't telling them at least approximately what they should be expecting be the polite thing to do?

Everyone. I have done some more digging and found something more credible and rather exciting.MAJOR find. I will include in a spoiler tag, but I am rather chuffed with myself for finding this.
Last week I entered eclipsemovie.com and the site shows it as coming soon and under construction. Today, I have realised that the domain is the same one that runs 007.com, known as Network Solutions, LLC which you can check here. https://www.whois.com/whois/007.com http://eclipsemovie.com

Maybe Bond breaks into Q's house, like he did to M in CR and SF.

Or something happens to Q, and he goes to feed the cats, and possibly look for something.

Maybe so! We already know how Craig Bond's apartment look like, and we've seen Moneypenny's place. I wonder what gadget filled kind of place Q lives in.

It's not like they're going to be doing anything drastically different to what they did before, so I don't see why this is an issue.

In this case, unless the actors themselves feel like they're being treated badly, they're not being treated badly.

    Moneypenny's apartment was bad enough.

    Pretty simple...

M for example might only have a couple of scenes and the same for Q, so they do not get a whole script. They will just get their lines for their scene which honestly won’t be filmed for awhile..

They definitely have a smaller role in this film (thank god) and there’s no reason for actors with 5 scenes or less to have access to the whole script..

That’s how you prevent leaks from happening.

    Pretty common.

When I acted we only got our lines we didn’t get the whole script.

You showed up and you did your scene and you’re done.

Not to undermine your entusiasm, but this was discovered the same day of the Eclipse rumor. Anyway, it hardly means anything, Network Solutions Llc is a beast, it could have been registered by anyone, even me le you

And a part from this, you can see that the registrant contacts are very different between the two

I see. Good point. I think it's because I found it myself and thought it was interesting to be same domain, but i suppose thats a good point and could be coincidence, but still intriguing.
I kind of knew it was ramek with this interview. plays it coy.

So, we can talk about the Norwegian shoot, I suppose, as in involving Malek doing some action. Maybe falling into the icy lake? It wouldn't be just a simple "entering house and making villain's speech" kind of scene, if it involves a stuntman, right?

If Malek is the villain, that would be the perfect reason for naming the film The Wizard of Ice.

I actually liked what they did Skyfall. I know it was only because he hadn't "setup shop yet", but I really enjoyed the idea of him and 007 meeting in profoundly British locations, although I did quite enjoy the Q lab set in Spectre, especially at the end when 007 appears behind the doors.

A bit of a tangent, but:

Looking at those photos, I'm struck again by the tremendous amount of work that went into the Day of the Dead sequence. That was just a massive undertaking.

If only the rest of the film had benefited from that much attention!

With two Bond girls, Seydoux, Magnussen and the MI6 regulars, I would imagine so and with that caliber of talent, he has to be. He'd be wasted on a smaller role.

There was a rumour that the film will include an expanded role for Moneypenny. How likely is that to happen with Seydoux and two other girls?

I would personally prefer multiple villians rather than Malik playing the main and that too something meaningful.
