    I’m sorry but being an automotive enthusiast, it’d be a crying shame to put Bond in an Aston that DOESN’T produce that infamous exhaust note. Astons have one of the best exhaust notes out there. Bond needs to be driving a vehicle with a beastly engine under the hood. Not an environmentally friendly set of wheels.

    I agree 100%. Although an electric car does leave more room under the hood for missiles. ;)

    What? What destroyes the planet is not a single luxury car but the general idea that excess is good. Bond driving an electric car is a step in a good direction and it would set a good example.

    To be honest, I’d never even heard of the Scottish Sun before today, so I’d be quite surprised if this is true. The Sun here in London is known for being a load of crap so I won’t be surprised if the Scottish one is too.

    There's a Tesla parked next to a Range Rover. Maybe that's the 'electric' car the article is referring too.

    Very cool car, excited for this if true. Very hip. Even just from a business standpoint, Aston Martin would definitely be pushing the electric sports car; it could generate some competition with Tesla ("Tesla is cool, but I want the electric car James Bond drove").

    Also, just from an espionage standpoint, having a silent car makes a million times more sense.

    This article is just repeating what The Sun reported. The Sun is a total rag, but the fact that Daily Mail is Baz’s employer does give this story a little credit in my mind (although, it must be stressed, this “scoop” isn’t from him).

    It could make for another classic Bond-Q scene though. Q would present the electric Aston: "Please return it in pristine order"; Bond would scoff, but own it behind the wheel all the same, before trashing the car.
    Bond returns the portable charger in one piece.

    The locomotive is parked out front and must be ready to locomote at all times. Not stored in a garage to break ones nails on.

    Electric cars would objectively be better for spy work than combustion engines. Imagine the benefit of having torque available instantly for Bond. Hinx would have lost him by the time he got in his car and would have no idea where he went in SP.

    Nothing much of interest other than a better view of the hole in the ice (looks like there's two actually – one completely open, and another with ice blocks laying around it). The reporter also mentions the water is very clear at Lutvann – which is an advantage if filming underwater scenes. Second unit underwater shots at Lutvann, perhaps?

    At the very end of the clip, the female journalist says she has a source which can confirm the activity around Lutvann is for James Bond.

    Yes, those weird-looking ice blocks, appearing more like single bed mattresses painted white (which they probably are), we can assume are for the stunt with the girl. The article also mentions the possibility of the Langvann set being moved to the other lake, OR filming in both places.
    Nevermind the 'Eastern Markets' wording in the rough translation of the article, that should say 'Østmarka forest' instead. Thanks to @Number24, a fellow member on AJB for a better translation of the article.
