In case you were wondering (and I certainly was not), some are casting Hiddleston dating Swift *as a way* to get the Bond role. For amusement value only:

    http://hollywoodlife.com/2016/06/16/tom-hiddleston-james-bond-dating-taylor-swift-role-movie/

And here i though that Hiddleston is Dating Taylor Swift because she's rumored to be the next Bond girl, and that it would increase his chances for the role 8-|

Sad thing is, we are not even surprised anymore about how low they get.

I guess negativity gives publicity, too, which is why they're tactically tending to be idiots.

Apparently they don't need many words ... words are not getting in the way. ;)

Actions speak louder than words dear @4EverBonded Well according to Sir Rog they do.

What the hell could Hiddleston and Swift possibly even talk about?

What to wear for their next pre-arranged appearance for the paparazzi.

the clothes worn by Bond on the beach in FYEO !" :D

If Hiddy does get Bond then that's my second somewhat Bond connection the first being Craig.

Ok here we go. I went to graduate school in Houston in the early 90s. One of my friends in school was a graduate of St Thomas in Houston the same university that Sean Patrick Flannery aka Young Indy is an alumni. My friend used to party with Flannery (before stardom) and that group of friends. Craig of course had one or two roles in Young Indy. Ok it's a stretch but c'mon lol.

Second with Hiddy my ex umm "poker player" was friends with Taylor Swift's cousins same last name Swift. Swift now rumored to be seeing Hiddleston.

Ok ok so neither is great and getting me passes to the B25 premier but still kinda cool.

Lol @Thunderpussy and @bondjames. Maybe revealing too much but Flannery and I share first and middle names.

I was hoping to get a chance to meet him during that time but never happened.

I was named after Mr. Connery.

It's certainly a privilege to be named after Connery @mcdonbb. That's your closest connection imho.

This thread has reached a new low (and I'm including all of @Mendes and @Disneys posts in that).

How has discussing the sex life of two people who have zero connection to Bond got any place here?

If there are people so vacuous as to want to discuss this then can I suggest they start up a new 'Tabloid Celebrities I Don't Give a F**k About' thread or better still just leave this forum entirely.

Mods I know there's no actual news but at what point do we get so far off topic that you intervene? Because I would say once the Kardashians are getting a namecheck we are way beyond that point.

Indeed. Let's get this thread back on course.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/ex-bond-girl-caterina-murino-daniel-craig-quitting-007-casino-royale-spectre-skyfall-sam-mendes-a7079401.html

Don't know whether this was posted before. Caterina Murino on why Craig is "quitting" Bond. I'm sure this is purely speculation on her part.

Yes, that seems like speculation. However, she seems to be 'in' with BB, so I wonder if she's let something slip unintentionally.

She could be gathering information based on what she's hearing from the press, but like you said, it's likely to be a slip based on her close ties with BB (she attended the birthday of Prince Philip along with Broccoli and other Bond alumni).

There are some super MP potentials in that link (under the heading of "the women who could play Bond"). Gemma Arterton looks great in that dress (photo 4 of 20).

I've never come across a statement on this site that I agreed with more!

Here she is, so she can be appreciated in all her glory without sifting through the prior link. I really would like her as MP (they wasted her as Fields imho).

She's was so wasted in QoS. It actually hurts that a woman so fine was underutilised but that seems to be the case with the women in the Craig era apart from Eva.

On another note, Arterton would have been THE perfect Laura Croft for the upcoming Tomb Raider movie.

They don't go for that type of Lara Croft anymore... The standards of the franchise changed courses... :>

They have cast Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft though. It's supposed to a prequel.

They have, which follows on the pattern of the dreadful reboot template of the video game franchise itself. A young and suffering soul Lara Croft trying to prove herself to the others... Some kind of a tragedian character of sorts... Lara Croft is supposed to be confident and fun character.
Gemma Arterton has been mentioned as Modesty Blaise.
She'd be a lovely Modesty Blaise! That also said, I'd have loved to see Elizabeth Hurley in the role. Even now.

I think it's going to be a reboot, just like the latest videogames.

    Meanwhile on reddit:

Instead of Making James Bond female, why not make a movie that follows M in her early days?

Not the worst idea in the world, if done right.
