No love for Cowboys & Aliens here? :))
The Western part was fantastic! Now if they would have only left those aliens out of it...

Totally agreed. Talk about falling apart.

I like Unforgiven. Not generally a fan of westerns but this I enjoyed.

I watched Open Range again last week. One of THE most underrated westerns IMHO, cant understand why it was not bigger.

So who here likes the Russel/Bale 3:10 To Yuma?

Because I love that movie. ;-)

    Oh yes, you called? :x

(I also love Marco Beltrami's score, and Bible Study just gets me every. single. time. Gawd. Obviously I have the cd, too. Love the artwork, as well. I still want Bale and Crowe to do something else together, good pair on and off screen. And good to see them on horses, too... Crowe especially at home there, of course... and his buddy might have been better off staying there, too, instead of motorcycles, damn... though who knows... Ben Foster was an excellent bastard. Chris Browning, poor guy, what a fate - for the character I mean...

Aaaand I'm looking forward to - presumably - Bale's next western that Scott Cooper is writing, and feel bad about the knee injury that stopped Mangold-Bale reunion this summer - maybe later. Oh, and what's Crowe doing next... *goes off to check since memory fails* ...yes, that and that, will watch, naturally... Ok, drifted off topic a bit... but you get my point. ;) I love the 2007 3:10 To Yuma.)

All warm and fuzzy now... :x :D

Of the oldies I've had a soft spot for Rio Bravo since childhood. A classic, and fun, and good songs, too. :)

Yeees definitely. Crowe's character reminded me in a nice way of Hannibal Lecter :-).

    Bourne 5,
Dr Strange (know nothing about the comics, but who cares),
Batman vs Superman (after I found out the other day that I do want to watch MoS once again),
    Inferno,
    Independence Day Resurgence (yeay!),
Suicide Squad (not convinced so far by Ayer, but curiosity gets the better of me).

'Triple Nine,' 'The Nice Guys,' 'Rogue One,' 'Star Trek Beyond,' 'The Accountant,' and if it happens, 'The Strangers 2' are the ones I'm looking the most forward to thus far. That's bound to change as more movies are announced, trailers are released, etc.

Me too @Mrcoggins - will make a change from CGI'd super hero movies and overwrought popcorn fodder. Don't Panic!
