    Funny that you should post this song. Precisely because I've listened to it many times, in my mind I always hear the word as "sollis". Or is it "quollis"? ;)

    Well this is interesting. Personally I'd pronounce "solace" like the 'sol' sound in 'solitaire' and the 'iss' in 'miss'. Similar to the pronunciation in the song above.

    I love when the chorus arrives, Joe Cornish goes "The Quantum of Solace..." and I'm there intrigued about what he's going do with that phrase, and then he goes "I don't know what that means"

    An older version of the official James Bond website had a brief video intro with a golden tint that featured a few moments from the films (the laser scene from Goldfinger, Bond sitting at the table with Scaramanga). It was set to the John Barry Seven recording of the James Bond theme. Anybody remember it? I'd like to see it again but the Internet Archive is of no help.
