    I lost my mother today. She had been ill for some time. I am grateful that she got to have all her closest family around her at the end. She was sent home a few days ago to end her life there.

    Thunderfinger, please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. I know only too well the feelings you are experiencing after losing my mum in December last year.

    Thank you all. @RogueAgent , I remember that. Very sad. My mother was 71and had been ill for about a year and a half. What a damn disease, and the treatment is just as bad.
