I have 6 types of green tea,in the office :

    Normal,lemon,pomegranate,mint,ginger,blueberry & blackberry.

    Love them all.

I've never been a big fan of green tea. I find it much too anaemic for my taste.

Perhaps the answer lies in using two tea bags to make it a bit stronger, which is how I think you take it, @barryt007?
That's the strategy. I do the same.
I will have to do that then if I'm brave enough to try green tea again any time soon!

Before I was just using one teabag for the green tea so that is where I may have been going wrong!

Yes, I especially find the stronger coffee from a machine the best stimulant if one is feeling tired during a shift at work.

Tea does not really have the same effect for me, no doubt due to the lower caffeine content!

I recently realised I had started to drink too much coffee and needed to cut down, I sometimes work nights so one strong coffee does help then its water for remainder of the shift. I recently tried Valerian Tea to help with insomnia though felt groggy so stopped, I occasionally drink Ginger Tea

Valerian can make you feel pretty bad if it doesn't quite work for you. Usually that is because you're not ready to 'calm down' yourself. If you can stand it you can also try Camomile.

I never drank coffee, so for me it's tea all through the day. If I want cafeine I'll get red bull and jumparound my collegues for the rest of the day.

Chai especially, but I also love Darjeeling, jasmine, and Lady Gray (Grey?).
All with plenty of sugar. :)

My morning tea is with lemon and honey, the Italian way. After that it's straight. At the offfice it's usually Earl(y) Grey.

I tried some Earl Grey once when an aunt gave us a variety of teas in small samples in a gift box. Can't say I was a big fan of it at all and it's put me off ever trying it again. I think I'll stick to PG Tips! ;)

Really?! I think it's one of the best teas I've tasted in terms of flavour.

I'm talking about teas you can buy in your local shop here of course. I'm not a tea gourmet.

Yes, it seems that we progress through different tea brands as we get older. Variety is the spice of life, as they say!

I wanted to share with you, my fellow tea people, a T-shirt I saw a woman wearing today. It had written on it the following:

YOU WERE MY CUP OF TEA BUT I DRINK Champagne NOW.

So, moving up in the world, eh?

    :D

Yes, I'd didn't get to see it very well at the time and while it was an obvious diversionary tactic to avoid questions about the Burka row it was nice of him too. And it's very British, isn't it?

Oh yes, very Brittish indeed. Polite, yet with an element of understated sarcasm to it ;)

Yes, he's a very able man and the bumbling exterior belies a canny political operator. He's got a Lt. Columbo thing going on in that people vastly underestimate him.

Really. I love their adverts. But not the tea itself. As far as everyday tea goes, I much prefer Yorkshire or Twinings.

Thankfully you didn't miss the f when you typed.

Though while we're on the subject coffee has a much better laxative effect than tea.
If that's what you're looking for, of course. ;)

That's reminds me, I need to try that Yorkshire Tea I bought to see if it is really as good as everyone says it is. Time for The Taste Test!
