I hope there's a good reason for her outfit. Almost looks like a period costume. Maybe too much of a throwback...

That Land Rover Bond is driving is a time machine. He stole the technology from Malek's character. B25 will be partially set in 1962. 007 must find the gate to return to 2020.

The actual plot of BOND 25 has been revealed.

Daniel Craig isn’t actually playing James Bond in the film but is actually playing himself.

THE PLOT : Production has halted on the latest film because writers can’t come up with a story. Rami Malek plays an obsessesd “old school” James Bond fan who is also a high tech industrial nerd who has created a technology that can place anyone into a long running film series and send then back to the beginning.

Frustrated with the delays he decides using the technology to send Daniel Craig not only back in time…but also back into the old Bond timeline where he has to team up with all the previous Bonds to battle his way through all their adventures starting with Dr No and thwarting all the villains plans to get back to 2019 to start production on BOND 25. In the meantime Malek’s character has kidnapped Purvis & Wade so they don’t work on anymore BOND films and DC must get back to save them so they can go on to write BOND 26.

The film will simply be called BOND 25.

    =)) =))

Dan suffered a minor knock while filming in Jamaica, apparently.

It is The Sun, though. So grain of salt, etc.

Yep, at Pinewood. Nice. More filming at Norway coming up, I feel sure. Plus Pinewood getting ramped up ... things are happening.

Is Craig hurt or is it more crap thrown at the production?

Wow....whether it's true or not, one thing is clear: The UK tabloids have the knives out for this film.

I suspect the fact that Jeffrey Wright was at Pinewood probably means filming has indeed started. Or at least work is ongoing whilst Craig recovers.

It seems Craig was hurt (ankle) but this description of how is questioned.
Just reading a bit ... trying to sift thru to see what's true ...

Scenes not involved Daniel can still be filmed at Pinewood, obviously; though I don't know what that may be. I read Daniel has flown off to see a specialist.

Let's see, he was injured during filming Skyfall and Spectre. Hoping this is very manageable for him.

It still seems absurd to me that he's getting injured on set on a regular basis. Did this happen to the other actors?

I would take this report, or at least the extent of the alleged injury, with a grain of salt, possibly a shaker of salt.
Too often people are like cats chasing a laser pointer when it comes to unsubstantiated stories.

I remember Brosnan did his knee in while filming DAD.

    Couple of new tidbits here:

    1. Phoebe Waller Bridge came on board since the very start of the year
    2. There was a title supposedly ready to reveal but MGM/Universal claimed 'it wasn't strong enough' so they held it back
    3. Don't expect Bond 25 Funko pops as the deal is now dead. Which is a shame because, that's the sort of stuff that's now expected of big franchises/films now...

Oh that's great news! Sorry for those who like them, but I find the Funko pops annoying.
Fine that Phoebe has been on board awhile; that is actually good.
    Interesting about the title.

In fact neither Shatterhand or Eclipse are strong enough. Good.

Yes, if those were the titles, good for MGM/Universal to have turn them down, means they mean business. Although Babs did say those came out of the ether, but she's a true politician isn't she ;) ?

All The Time In The World ...? Somebody had mentioned that and I could see how it might fit this Bond film a bit, but I gag on any OHMSS reference. So I'm hoping that one is not "strong" enough either.

Hey, @antovolk, what are their sources anyway, for these news tidbits?

And we got hurt after seeing that movie.

As the admins of this very site I'm sure they get solid info...
ATTITW is my personal pick for the title tbh

If the issue is that the decision about the title being 'weak' came from the studios (as opposed to the writers/actors/etc), then I'm guessing that means the MGM/Universal salesmen are on it.

So I'd guess the odds of getting a "(always/never)+(die/kill)+(twice/tomorrow)" type of title have gone up quite a bit.

I hope that "not strong enough" title wasn't Risico or The Property of a Lady.
I still want those to be used eventually.
If it was Eclipse or Shatterhand, I'm fine with MGM/Universal turning holding out for something better.

:)) Only last half. I really enjoy the first half of DAD

If Craig had injured his hand they could have gone with Shatterhand as the title.

    :P

Re Bond injuries - Filming TND, Brosnan was left with a permanent scar on his face. Above his top lip on the right side. It's not that noticeable, though.

I'm willing to bet cash that the title was 'Eclipse' - probably named after the dangerous new technology created by Malek.

Just put us out of our misery and call it Once Upon A Spy

I always thought Red Sparrow was a cool title for a spy film (the film itself is middling). But you can follow the same process and get a cool title: Black Fox or White Scorpion. It's an easy formula for coming up with an adequate title.

Babs can’t override them on the title
