I am looking after a cat next week. Alas, not my favourite thing to do.
I'm sure the cat is just as thrilled to be in your company.

He should look after me for a change.

And yes it looks like he has a dick & balls pattern on his face

I'm so glad you said that, because I was going to be too polite to mention it! Call him Nobby :)

That's a good one! Just tell your wife the name is taken after Nolberto «Nobby» Solano - the former Newcastle United player, if she gets suspicious.

Or you could name him after a famous writer or musician. She can’t say no to that.

    Rod Stewart or Balzac perhaps?

What would you name this cat?

    Chinstrap.

What would you name this cat? My wife has her eyes set on him- he’s only 6 months, so he’s going to be HUGE (looks like possibly a Turkish Van. Big boys, with long hair)

And yes it looks like he has a dick & balls pattern on his face, but my wife wouldn’t let me pick Dick or Richard. :))

    I'd call him Max.

«Nobby» Solano is also an accomplished trumpet player!

We have the application in- I love all the name suggestions!

Keeping with the unique pattern this little guy has on his face I suggested Magnum to my wife, and said 'it's based off my favorite 80's TV character' and she saw right through that one

Tried to think of a name myself, but all I could come up with - while keeping with the "theme", was the Swedish word for you know what: snopp.

Doesn't sound as fun, does it. Maybe something in a different language?

Edit: the Norwegian translation - kuk, doesn't sound like a name either, haha!

Oddly enough, the name we're both leaning towards is Frank

Frank isn't an innuendo, am I right?

    It could be ;)
  • I was gonna say, she vetoed all those other suggestions but FRANK is okay? I mean you may as well just call the cat "Wiener" at that point.

Frank is an innuendo in English?! You learn something new every day I guess!

My cat (Domino, not Odin who is the cat in my pic) went on a hunting mode yesterday night and pretty much tortured a pigeon in our back garden. We stopped Domino before he could kill the bird. My wife and her friend brought the pigeon in a rescue centre. The friend and her daughter named the survivor Primrose.

I've seen Domino hunting before, but nothing like this. It was pure sadism.

Hotdogs are also known as franks. Almost any nickname you can think of for a hotdog or a sausage can also be a nickname for a tallywacker in Western culture.

What about Tallywacker for the cat's name?

    Did not know that!

Some people also have two names for their pets! What about Frank Tallywacker?

Lol if he was an outdoor cat it would be worth it to see yelling that out the back door to come home. :))
