The Flash is equally dumb in the real trailer.

They are certainly making Barry Allen a bit daft though he is a genius

You can't be smart without being quirky. WB certainly nailed that annoying trope down.

True Barry has a mind that is expansive, Supes and Bats also have expansive minds though they can compartmentalise, well most of the time as there genius is often dictated by well documented factors

Wish Barry had an actual costume. First the CW goes with leather and now we have some weird metal suit. Would have loved to see something like Batman’s suit for Barry but red with the logo.

Barry's suit appears to be his own creation in Justice League, the suit should improve in design

Likely by the end of the movie too, if the chatter is true.

JL couldn't replicate the Tony/Peter MCU dynamic with Bruce and Barry without Bruce giving Barry a new suit at some point. ;)

Wouldn´t it be cool to have scene with Tony and Bruce sitting together discussing suit design :-)?

Or burning hundred dollar bills to light cigars while laughing about how insanely rich they are. :))

Tony would go on about his Daddy issues, and complain about how some evil bastard killed his parents one dark night and orphaned him, and Bruce would get whiplash and say, "You too?!" ;)

WB has officially confirmed Justice League's runtime: 2 hours and 1 minute, making it the shortest DCEU film yet (2 minutes shorter than Suicide Squad).

Oh my God. Oh God. I see that people have already pre-judged this film.

NO. The last person I want to see in this film is Tony Stark.

Objectively, based on those trailers, the Flash appears to be the weakest part of the film, it's a judgement we're allowed to make. It may not be true when the movie comes out, but based on your own statements, you'd do the same to any movie with Tony Stark in it.

I agree with @Agent007391. Now that trailers have been released we are aloud to make judgements. Although I will say that Cyborg is the weakest part of the film so far, only because of his lack from the trailers. The Flash is a close second though.
Let's be honest, the vast majority of us are really only seeing this because of Batman and Wonder Woman. Grant Gustin seems more like the Flash in the TV show than Ezra Miller does in the trailers. Not to mention ever since Ezra Miller told a fan that he couldn't give him his autograph, because he had a MARVEL comic instead of a DC one, he seems kind of like a douchebag to me.

The Flash and Aquaman are both completely unrecogniazable from the comics. Both in terms of looks and personalities. It is only their powers that are the same.

That's what a trailer is for! To show you if the movie is worth one's time or not. People are allowed to make judgments based on those trailers.

The trend of shorter run times continues.

Barry Allen's persona in the DCEU seems more compatible with that of Wally West's. Don't you agree? Allen is more of a serious person than the goofy Wally (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

I know you're a fan of shorter runtimes, @Mendes4Lyfe, but don't you agree that a story should be as long as it needs to be? JL will need to unite seven heroes, resurrect Superman, build up the minor villain, tease a greater threat and have a big battle play out between the heroes and all those forces while building up each character and letting them shine.

For all the work the movie must do, I'm not eased by hearing it's at least thirty minutes shorter than what I'd expect it to be considering the content it must have. If the movie comes out feeling rushed and scattered, we'll know why.

Do we think that this new runtime is a result of Joss Whedon editing Snyder's original cut, which may've been longer (he can't make short films, after all) before he left?

Yeah, somewhat similar to the animated Justice League TV show. I imagine the creators wanted to add a humorous character to the team, but rather than having Wally West join the Justice League like he did in the show, they just gave DCEU's Barry a goofier personality.

They are clearly trying to go with one of the earlier incarnations of the JL, with the same regular members, and put Barry in there instead as I don't think Jay is very popular despite his big part in the league from the old days. I guess they felt they needed a comedic guy in the movie and all the other characters are less suited to it, so Barry fills that role. I wish we'd have gotten Wally, however, as we already have a Barry on TV and it warrants unneeded comparison.

DCAU Justice League Flash was Wally West.

Oh, sorry. That's my bad, I thought they were saying the DCAU made Barry like Wally. I read that wrong.
