I actually like Daniel Craig but feel he is not getting the A game from EON, QoB is imho a poor too quickley produced movie with more of a Bourne feeling than 007. SF was supposed to be brilliant and it really dissapointed me, I had hoped for so much but got style over content.
And anybody knows my opinion on the efforts of DA.

I agree about the PTS of TWINE, but is Hans really overrated? I don't like him much, but I am not sure anyone remembers him enough to rate him very high.

PTS: CR, the B/W was rather pretentious.
Score: CR & QoB, DA showed he could not reinvent the music for the new era, just elevator music.
Villain: Silva, started menacing became Lecter, Gollum and became a blond nutbag
Ally: Quarl in Dr No, unlike his character in the books he lacked depth. Which has to do with sequence of filming the books
Bond Girl: Jinx, she has no redeeming aspects even if Halle Berry deserved some.
Minor Character: Elvis from QoB
Henchman/henchwoman: Renard, started of as fascinating became a lovesick loser.

For me the Jinx Character something the franchise could easily do without, and still I find Halle Berry one sexy minx she did deserve so much better. But I was really disappointed by the result.
My econd choice would be Vesper Lynd from CR, such a great character from the book, such a great actress and the sum of those is not shown in the movie.
I'm still baffled.
This thread concerns who you find to be most overrated, not who you dislike the most.
To be overrated is to: have a higher opinion of (someone or something) than is deserved.
Thus, Jinx does not fit this criteria.
the character is overrated in any existence, even one person liking it makes it overrated.

Most Overrated Bond Film: The Living Daylights (I do like it, but it's never been inside my Top 12; has too many boring stretches for me. Not to say it's a bad Bond film, but I just can't hold it as one of my favorites like many other Bond fans do)
Most Overrated Title Track: A View to a Kill (Not entirely sure what to pick on this one, but I'll go with AVTAK. I like the song actually - it's one of my favorite parts of the film, but it would still be lucky to make my Top 10)
Most Overrated Title Credits: From Russia with Love (I really don't know what else to pick...)
Most Overrated PTS: The Living Daylights (I do like this one, but I just think people over-hype it all the time; it probably doesn't even quite make my own Top 10)
Most Overrated Score: Moonraker (Wasn't bad, but I see a lot of people love on it like it's one of the best in the series; it's not even that memorable for me)
Most Overrated Villain: Emilio Largo (kind of hard to pick since I like most of them - and the ones I don't aren't overrated - but I do think Largo gets a little too much praise. Kind of a mediocre villain in my opinion)
Most Overrated Ally: Felix Leiter (The Thunderball version only; I just never liked him...)
Most Overrated Bond Girl: Tatiana Romanova (popped into my head immediately; no question the most overrated Bond girl IMO)
