One thing's for sure. He won't be a wookie.

Probably not an Ewok. He's been in other Star Wars films like The Phantom Menace and I think he was in The Force Awakens.

I saw that the other day and it made me smile. You can see how excited he is by his finger twitching. The guy looked like he was about to cry lol.

What I find even more intriguing about that clip is that hint of a young Joker laugh from Hamill!

Very true Hamill even back then looks the prankster, Trickster or Joker. ;)

Will try to be open minded about this film, Alden is noticeably alot shorter than Harrison.

I wouldn't worry about his height. Tom Cruise is a lot shorter than most of his costars but they do a good job of making him look as tall, if not taller, than them.

True movie magic takes height out if the equation.

Another screen shot this must be at the start of Han Solo The movie.

For some reason I'm getting more of a Kurt Russell vibe than a Harrison Ford vibe from his hair.

I can totally see that. Especially if I'd seen this image directly after seeing Guardians Vol 2, Kurt Russell would have just popped into my head right away, I'd be wondering if they were making a Snake Plissken prequel.

That child above looks more like Solo than this chap they've hired to play him. The hair is just all wrong.

I can't believe I'm defending this film, but keep in mind that this is supposed to take place quite a few years before ANH, so hairstyles change over time and all that jazz. That's the only explanation I can think of because if they're trying to mimic Harrison's 1977 look then they failed miserably. He looks more like David Hasselhoff!

Well he also looks a little banged up so the hair might just be messy for a scene.

    Probably not.
There was hatred showered all over this film even before its release due to some Abrams lens flares in the trailer.

There are fans who hate Rogue One because it's too much like Star Wars. There are fans who hate Force Awakens because it's not enough like Empire.

There are haters everywhere, who by default will hate, no matter what they put out.

So no, you're probably not the only one who doesn't like Ep. VII, regardless of how solid your arguments are. :)

    Jedi on top, huh? :)

I think it's a given that Star Wars and Empire both belong there.
