Why aren't the Bonds in the right order?

We all know the cover'll just be like the one for GoldenEye: Reloaded, with a sillouhuete of Bond holding a gun, probably with the gunbarrel as a background. Only Blood Stone's cover was any good, and that was just a publicity pic from QoS.

The Bonds don't need to be in Order. in Bond 50 Box Art they weren't, too.

And if the cover will be like GE:RL, no way it will be a good one. GE's cover is not that great, imo.

So, what do you think of this 'leaked' GE:RL cover. When I first saw it I really thought 'wow, amazing' but it unfortunatly IMO has to much of a noir-cop or John McClane feel to it.

That cover hasn't even a Bond feeling which it really NEEDED to have.

I actually, design wise, looks better then the one we got.

That'n looks a hell of a lot better than the two (GE2010Wii, GE2010Reloaded) than we got. I don't care how noir it is, it's still great.

I'm certain they will burst your bubble with just doing the skyfall anouncement alongside the trailer release

yeah well they have 6 months to kill 6 stories. they already said this ties into skyfall. so im guessing they might spill that again and show us a screen shot, that would be helpfull as it might show us what type of game we are going to get, i think goldneye had some early screen shots.
I think ive been let down by each game thats come out since activision started publishing, not to say i have not had fun. but goldneye def was a big let down to me. the opening dam missions were alot of fun then it just garbled the story to the point of pantomime.
I had a guy complain to me how he found it difficult to play the single player becuase he just didn't know how to get out of the helicopter on singleplayer. leading me to believe alot of the people i was playing on multiplayer wer eonly there for the games name not the fact tit was a bond game. i found the multiplayer to be vastly inferior for matchmaking that the othe rtwo outing.
I dont know, im not convinced ill be playing bond this year.

They will probably choose the six most action-packed Bond movies, at least that's what I'm thinking. In order to fill in enough content for levels, they'd need all the action available without butchering the storyline, like the FRWL game. From Connery, we could expect Thunderball or You Only Live Twice. From Moore, we could expect The Spy Who Loved Me or For Your Eyes Only, maybe even Octopussy. For Dalton, both of his really have loads of action, but I'd expect them to pick The Living Daylights. As for Brosnan and Craig, all of theirs are action packed, so it'd be a toss-up at that point.

i expect alot of this has nothing to do with if it will make the cut or not what it has to do with is if activision can adapt it and shorten its story to fit this overall arch. for instance as with casino royal when in the film he fights a few guys in the stairs this is turned into KILLING AND ENTIRE ARMY IN THE HOTEL. a hotel with only and ARMY IN IT, then its back to palying cards.
what i mean by this is the sanity might be thrown to the wind in order to turn the over all story into a shooting game.
I personally would kinda like to see scaramanga show up with a golden guy update but i dont know.

someone said that moonrakes the book would be prime for being made intoa film now but a solid investigative game could be pulle dout of that with little to no gun fire. now i think back to that book i dont even think bond fired one shot the whole thing?(correct away if im wrong its been a long time)

So, Craig-Bond going to space, battling Lonsdale's Drax and Kiel's Jaws... Only in videogames. Although I'm waiting for Craig-Bonds OTT Bond film.

aw man didnt i just say that moon raker the book was prime for being made into a game...now i see it the same crappy goldeneye engine, with daniel craig in a 70s space shuttle launch. wtf was the point in recastings 006 the whole lot of goldeneye 006, xenia, orimov...
WHAT IS THE LOGIC IN THIS? or is it because hes drowning now he will be traveling through time like this was life on mars?
i was hoping it they went down this route that the man with the goldengun would be the moore bond touched on. still do you think that they will take all the post spectre oginised crimes such as the moonraker plot or indeed scaramanga and connect them all as members of Quantum?

Not sure if it's going to be bantha pudu. But , imo , Moonraker doesn't quite click with the Craig-era. I know it's just a game. But it's so hard to imagine Craig-Bond going to space some time between QoS and Skyfall. The most OTT thing he has done is landing on a hard ground with just a seconds after he managed to open his parachute.

I see a p99 in the trailer too not the ppk? unless bonds going to be specifically given this in skyfall, or they intend to rehas the dr no sequence? will dench be M for moonraker, so whys brosnan annoyed with her but where's Bernard Lee if drax and jaws... i mean wtf
also will this stupid pen gun i see him with be in the multiplayer? Im still content more so than ever now to let this just sit on the shelf untill i see what they are doing for next year.

Hmm Moonraker as the first one... I'm ok with it.

I bet Goldfinger is one of the classic movies turned into a modern game... or Dr.No. Although I'm fairly sure it'll be Goldfinger.

Moonraker??? Daniel Craig in Moonraker??? Just doesn't seem to fit.

I hope that was the Wii graphics.... because it looks shockingly bad !!
Bad graphics, COD gameplay and more needless changes to the films stories??? Yeah, I don't think I'll be buying this.
  • I think it looks good. Graphics could be better, but otherwise pretty sweet. I'm genuinely pumped to play through these Bond movies and just damn excited by the whole concept. Interesting that they were relatively faithful to the movie, at least in terms of casting.

I hope there'll be a plenty o' sneaking possibilities and not just mindless shooting like the trailer shows. Besides, there's already a pretty good Moonraker game out there.
It's called The Operative : No One Lives Forever.

Infiltrating a secret launch site in a jungle / forest ; Check

Moonraker is OK. The rest will just be films that have the villain characters already rendered I would think. So one down, five to go. Goldfinger will have to be revealed at some point.

The trailer looks average but if the gameplay is at least as good as the last GoldenEye game, I'll buy it.
  • There will be stealth. It is clearly a sequel to Reloaded in terms of engine, and I every level you could do stealth or guns blazing.

Does this mean we can also expect Thunderball and LALD?

It looks more polished than GE:R in my opinion.

But I'll still have to keep saying to myself "Graphics don't make a game!"

It's Bond...i'm going to buy it, and enjoy it. It just depends how much

Wait...how do you guys know that Moonraker is the first movie revealed? I just looked on their website and couldn't find anything.

Oh, it said SkyFall super trailer, I thought it was just for SkyFall. Man, that looks really cool! Can't wait to battle Hugo Drax and Jaws in a big showdown!

    Hmm.
Seems like its all set in the launch base (which doesnt seem to bear much resmblence to Ken Adams designs) and in the space station. So no PTS freefall, no Venice, no cable cars.

I'm hardly slavering with anticipation I have to say.

It looks nothing like Moonraker. I don't get it, you already have your gameplay arenas created by Ken Adam and you go and redesign it?

Maybe it's just showcasing the main battle. There might be more to the story, at least I'm hoping there is!
