I want to gauge how divisive No Time to die is for bond fans so please just add a point for how you feel about NTTD so we can get a consensus.

    Lol

I don't think you need a poll to answer that one

On the other hand, this jacket?

  • Oh, I'll give a Negative 6 to that jacket straight off. But that's not Bond wearing it -- that's Daniel Craig. Everybody knows he's got no fashion sense... ;)

Absolutely positive. It might be able to creep into my Top 10, almost guaranteed perennial Top 15, minimal complaints.

There are some aspects of the movie that may be divisive. But on a whole, it seems like people enjoy it.

I feel like this may end up being a bit pareto-ish :).

There are dinner jackets and dinner jackets. I agree that this was the latter ;)

NTTD isn't perfect, but I liked it.

I had a lot of issues with the film (still can’t decide where I’d rank it), but the way it all came together by the end made it a brilliant viewing experience for me.
  • I don’t think I can give a binary opinion at this point. When I came out of the theater I was a bit more negative I’d say, but in the days since seeing it and thinking about it more I’d say my thoughts are skewing more positive. I’ll have to see it again to really solidify my opinion.

The feeling I got leaving the theatre after seeing it for the first time was the feeling that I sorely missed after leaving Spectre for the first time.

Regardless of whether you loved it or hated it, there's no question a film that tackles themes like this or goes in the directions that NTTD does is certainly divisive.
