Objectively, and due to its classic status, I suppose GF should be higher, but I really don't enjoy it all that much and subjectively it's the Hamilton film I'd rather not watch. Much prefer TB or TSWLM if going that route.

Same here. Just like Skyfall, is not a bad film but way too much overhyped.

Ranking from when I first joined here in 2011:

    1. GF (tie with) LALD

    3. DAF
I'm surprised to see that I tied GF with LALD. I've always found LALD very entertaining, but not necessarily a 'better' film than GF.

    New ranking:

    1. GF
    2. LALD

    3. DAF
    4. TMWTGG

DAF moves up a spot from last, as I finally 'clicked' with this film last year. That has yet to happen with GG.

@QBranch, I love going back to those older lists I made back when I joined and seeing how much my tastes have changed since, it's really interesting.

Interesting... GF, DAF, & TMWTGG are all on the same tier for me now; LALD is just a bit below.

    1. Gf
    2. Lald
    3. Tmwtgg
    4. Daf

Gf and lald are top 10, tmwtgg is somewhere in the middle, daf is towards the bottom, but it has its good qualities.

Is @chrisisall the only one who has LALD last. I find that film to be fairly popular around here. It's been a favorite of mine since '73.

Arguably the least "Moore" movie after FYEO, although with this one Moore looks young, smokes, and could reasonably beat someone at a fist fight.

    Moore:
    1. TSWLM/LALD (that could go either way, both Top Ten)
    3. FYEO (just a few places outside the Top Ten)
    4. TMWTGG (solid)
    5. OP (always rising; the great vs the inane)
    6. AVTAK (great fun, but doesn't have any great moments for Roger himself, I know others disagree, which holds it back)
    7. MR (technically, an excellent production, but has always left me cold, in fact in '79 I found the whole thing to be an affront to Bond; Moore does get a couple of strong moments though)

Funny, to me it will always be the most "Moore" Bond film, because that was how I first saw him. It was TSWLM and onward that I see as the deviations.

Yep. The former that is his very best film, and the latter that contains his greatest performance as Bond.

    1. GF (#4)
    2. LALD (#10)
    3. TMWTGG (#19)
    4. DAF (#23)

Easy list for me. Loved the first efforts with Connery and Moore, but felt mixed about the second ones. Definitely prefer TMWTGG over DAF though.

That's mine as well, more or less. Sometimes DAF catches me in the right mood and it steps above GG.

Generally it's a toss up with GG and DAF. At present GG is having a resurgence. DAF although the most comedic Bond film, has many flaws. But it is a great romp.

Hardly surprising considering my nickname, but my favourite among the Hamilton outings has always been TMWTGG.

    3. LALD
    4. DAF

Yea I don’t at all agree with this. Fyeo is Moore’s 4th best (ranked highly overall), tmwtgg features on of the worst performances as bond overall, and Moore’s worst. Moore’s best performance as bond is in op.

Guess we are finding ourselves on the opposite sides of the spectrum, once again.

With Rog' as my #1 Bond, all I can say I find him perfect in all of his films. TMWTGG has a lot to offer from him IMO, even though it seems many would disagree with this.

I like tmwtgg and think it’s underrated. Middle of the road bond film for me. Moore’s performance is one of the weak points. I think his performances are largely consistent starting with tswlm, with mr being the exception (and his second worst performance).
