    I don't bother questioning why people do what they do online. Even if these were rumblings he actually heard, where's the basis or confirmation for them? Could've just been two people talking out of their ass.

    Hell, someone on the forums pre-SP made some insane bets regarding Radiohead 100% doing the theme song, and we know how that turned out!

    I find it amusing how these stories get made up out of a few comments taken out of context and then blown out of proportion. The media are such hacks.

    For example, Harris makes an 'off the cuff' remark that she knows nothing about what's going on, and all of a sudden we get new 007 actor rumours kicking about. Or Craig plays it vague during that NYC interview a few months back and all of a sudden it's a guarantee that he's back in the role.

    Bottom line: I think it's in a holding pattern for now.

    If Mendes comes back, I guarantee you that the DB5 is back. I can live with it. He still has enough good will with me. As long as he gives us something different, with better performances from everyone than the last one, and doesn't waste time on trying to get any more Guinness Book records.

    I'm not sure I buy this Reddit rumor. That said, if Mendes, Craig and the rest of the gang are back for B25, I find it far better than the current feeling of there being no new Bond film in the works.

    I'm not sure what else Mendes has left to bring to the table. He said he used up all of his ideas after SF, which was painfully obvious come SP, but now he would have enough material for a THIRD straight installment? I don't buy it, and again, I really hope it doesn't play out like this.

    I went to a palm reader the other day and she said that the film is actually in postproduction; because of the leaks, everything has been kept hush, hush.

    I heard from my unnamed source deep in the bermuda triangle that filming is shceduled for march 7th and will be released worldwide on july the 8th. :D

    Funny thing about leaks and internet rumors, I can remember back in 2005 on the Commanderbond site forum a member posting that Bond 21 would be Casino Royale and the series would start over from scratch. A few months later it did indeed turn out to be Casino Royale.

    Daniel Craig is Ian Fleming's James Bond 007 in Shatterhand a film by Sam Mendes.
    This I think is what is coming, and I did predict this a long time ago, so again, I am going on record, for when the prizes are handed out

    Based on the rumours, and I am not saying they are true, because I don't know obviously, I do however think that the one, that has Craig and Mendes working on a treatment makes a lot of sense

    I think Craig knows that this is his last go-round, so he will take time and do what works for him.

    Babs imo is waiting these two out (Othello and Sam) They are Plan A. She is kinda stuck with them.
    Not the worst thing really, for tying up both SP and the Craig era.
    And I think it is for the best at this stage considering how much uncertainty has passed.
    If the series was indeed looking at a new-actor relaunch post SP, which I don't think it was, it would have made far more sense to just get to get in a timely fashion.

    But once Craig is done, she can then launch fresh new glorious era of Bond.
    If rumour is true (big if of course), I am encouraged that she is looking to cast young.
    It would be good to have a young guy commited to a good run, and not distracted by other projects, and maybe we could get cranking these things out a little faster.
