How would you react if a re-imagined version of J.W. Pepper appeared in Bond 25?

You mean if he was given the Tarkin treatment?

Fyi, this guy has admitted his source is a drunk friend at the pub:

Personally, I still reckon that it’s true. I k ow people within film circles in London and the community is close knit and gossipy.

The big question though is how big a role that Middleton will have. She could be minimal.

I was the guy who asked him the question and by his response it sounds like this guy could either be telling the truth or just talking smack cause he's got a few drinks in him but I do hope it's true cause tuppence middleton would be an excellent addition to a bond film.

If he did come back, he'd probably be a hipster laptop toting computer whiz, thus losing the character's original essence.

As long as he's still racist, that's all that matters. :D

I’ve never heard of Tupperware Middleman before, but considering the source of this rumor, I sincerely doubt that it’s true.

I never questioned her sex appeal. She is as portrayed above in that regard.

As a character, @TripAces, it's your word against mine.

I think the words you used were "wrongly interpreted." I think she's perfectly cast-a good interpretation of the character. Perhaps you mean that she should simply remain behind a desk. That's more subjective. I prefer the fact that Moneypenny is in the field a little bit.
She is wrongfully interpreted. Naomie Harris portrays her as a field agent type, which Moneypenny is anything but. She's also meant to be the softer type a la Thandie Newton, for example. Harris is more the capable one you'd find believable when she pulls the gun on you to make a point. Moneypenny isn't that.

I know it's not Fleming, but given the events in the book series, MP really should be packing!

Considering how things turned out for Goodnight, and M before her, I see your point.

If I were to guess, I'd say we will get a visible minority for a substantial role in this film. Which role, I can't say. Asian, most likely.
I agree. Especially with Black Panther and Crazy Rich Asians being huge hits this year. Bond goes with the trends and all that.

And I'm indeed still holding out hope for Sonoya Mizuno for either the MI6 agent or the "mystery woman".

I wouldn't be surprised if she showed up on the main villain's arm, @FrankXavier ... and worked as a sadistic Rosa Klebb/Irma Bunt type.

    I would really like that.

Happy new year everyone! Filming of Spectre began on the 8th of December 2014 (a Monday) and the press conference of that movie was held the Thursday before that. Filming of BOND 25 will begin on the 4th of March (a Monday). The Thursday before that is the very last day of next month!

Yes and Bond 25 comes out NEXT YEAR! All the more reason to celebrate. It's the home stretch!

We'll be exposed to so much Bond 25 related info in twenty-nineteen that it'll blown 2016, 17 and 18 out of the water combined!

Don't know anything about this Tuppence Middleton, but I like her pictures and her name itself is quite Bondian.

A friend of mine who lives down the street (literally) was at school with Tuppence Middleton. Alas, they are not in contact these days!

I had a chance to revisit Quantum of Solace. The ending with Bond confronting Yusef was great (and quite Bondian). It’s unfortunate that the ending got somewhat spoiled by Spectre. Here’s to hoping that B25 is standalone and brings a return to some Bondian elements that were missing.

I'm surprised. I thought that his sexual harassment accusations would be the end of his career.

It does surprise me that Eon would want to associate themselves with Haggis given his allegations. But from a creative standpoint I'm thrilled to know he's on board.
