A new Bond game (or games) would be the only thing that could lure me back into gaming again. Haven't played a video game in 3-4 years.

If you read the entire article, you realize that they have no definite strategy so far regarding a Bond video game. It's just a catalog-wide deal over merchandising in the gaming industry that starts with a select number of franchises. Expect at least a bunch of free-to-play mobile games where they just change the visuals and a few minor elements to get either a James Bond or a Robocop version. Or some slot machines.

If they had a clear idea of what a James Bond video game should have, it would have resulted in a specific deal, not something that also involves "Are You Smarter than a Fifth-Grader?" It's basically the equivalent of a PowerPoint presentation where an executive explained that VG licensing could bring MGM a few dozens millions annually for almost zero cost. The program has been okayed, and that's it all.

Yeah, I guessed this probably was the case without reading through the article. We're most likely far away from getting an actual, proper video game. At least with a new Bond film on the way, it might be a slim chance a video game will be a possibility some time in the future.

Injustic gods among us mobile is my most played game to be honest if they develop a fun to play 007 mobile game I would love it and play it

Would definitely enjoy a mobile game too. Don't play many mobile games, but I'd definitely download a Bond game.

Wonderful and expected news re. Norway. They scouted western Norway a few years ago, so it's great that they're going through with shooting there.

Yeah and everything he said in the past had to be taken literally.

That road is an awesome, Bondian location. I hope Craig’s injury isn’t serious.

There's zero proof of him actually being injured. If so,sorry.

They make it seem like the production in Jamaica was halted because of that...

Amazing, how someone with minor parts in two films thinks she dictates the future of the franchise.

Craig needs to be done whether he wants to or not.

Bond 25 may not be Daniel Craig's last film as 007, co-star Naomie Harris hints
    https://independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/bond-25-daniel-craig-naomie-harris-cast-replacement-next-007-a8912856.html

And though the forthcoming film was expected to be Craig’s last, Harris hints that the Chester-born actor might not be done yet.

“Well the thing is that everyone is assuming this is his last film,” she told The Independent at Saturday’s Formula E E-Prix in Monaco.

“Daniel has never said that, so we don’t know. It’s still open, who knows.

“Genuinely I think he doesn’t know. Nobody does. It depends on this film and if people turn out and are like ‘We want Daniel’ – which I think they will – then he may well be back for another one.”

Asked who she thought would be a good replacement for Craig when he does eventually elect to hang up his Walther PPK, Harris said she simply hopes that Craig will stay on.

“I started with Daniel so all I’ve ever known is Daniel. I know he’s amazing to work with, I love working opposite him, so I want him. I can’t really think of anyone else.”

if its amazing I almost don't want him back so he can end on a high note but if he can deliver 2 films both of which are brilliant dark and of the same level as Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.... yeah I will be happy with Craig back one more time

We cannot dictacte the future of the franchise either, even though same act like it.

The franchise is going to get very dry and repetitive if EON keeps holding onto Craig even if B25 brings new life to the franchise, I love Daniel Craig and everything he has done for this era but I'm 100% sold that this will be his last and he's been saying it since he announced his return on Stephen Colbert. He never truly said he was done during Spectre's marketing campaign like the media made it out to be but now he's saying it for real even before filming began.

Personally I think Bond 25 should be Craig’s last. If it’s bad, then it will prove to me there wasn’t much left in the tank after SF. If it’s good, then I’d much rather settle on him leaving on a high then risking it again for Bond 26. I love Craig’s Bond and most of his outings, but I think this film marks the right time to go out. No one should be too surprised if he does return again though; I’m pretty sure Connery planned on YOLT being his last, and I think Moore with FYEO or OP.

There won't be any need to say anything. I'll merely stop watching. Closed wallets are more effective than internet posts.

I'd be fine with another reboot as long as they don't try to copy Casino Royale which I don't they would do but I think having him already established as 007 would be more smarter than another origin story, Only change Bond and the MI6 regulars except Ralph Fiennes keep him on board!

Take it easy, mate - she was responding to a direct question.

As for me, I think they should be rolling Harris out in front of the press all the time. She conveys more enthusiasm for the project than the rest of the cast and crew combined.

I am a huge fan of the Craig era - but to me it‘s all down to B25. If I‘ll leave the theatre like I did past CR or QoS I will join the Please-One-More-Daniel-crowd. If I‘ll leave like I did after SP, I will be ready to move on. Also if it just feels right (what it did not after SP) that Daniel is done and leaves on the deserved high note, I will gladly stick with 5 movies as well. I am very curious myself how my own reception will be.

Thing is: I think he looks fantastic for B25 ... but another 3-4 years wait will be too much in any case ... and I doubt they will do one more next year already. So I am 90% sure this is his last one. And I am looking forward to it.

This "injury report from The Sun has taken on a life of it's own; countless sites are reporting it and that filming has been suspended, all with The Sun report as the source. . I'm skeptical of the report and think that the seriousness of the injury is being exaggerated to sensationalize the story.
@peter @ColonelSun do either of you have any insight into this?

It does seem suspicious given The Sun’s track record, but it’s not a stretch to imagine given all the injuries that have happened before. I’m hopeful either there’s no injury at all or it’s minor.

4 days ago ( May 10) Cary Fukunaga posted a picture on IG saying it was a wrap in Jamaica. But @marketto007 pointed out that they had initially said they’d be in Jamaica until the end of May. So either
    A. They never were planning on shooting there that long (first unit) or
    B. They had to change plans if Craig did get injured

The injury will not delay release of the film, This will be DC's final film.

Craig has 100% been injured. The news is everywhere. It would not surprise me if this were the reason they finished filming in Jamaica much sooner than planned. Btw, only 2 weeks filming in Jamaica, not to mention without any set piece? Is that really it? After all that hype?

They hava a great director and a great writer (Waller-Bridge) working on Bond 25 right now, but the script is a mess and Craig is injured. For the sake of Bond 25 and the future of the franchise they should suspend filming for a few months and delay the release date to late 2020. I would much rather watch a GREAT Bond film one and a half years from now than a bad Bond film one year from now.

I'm not saying that he's not , but as far as " The news is everywhere" that has little meaning since ALL reports use the single, unverified, story in The Sun as a source.

Also, If shooting at Pinewood was/is scheduled to begin at the end of this week then the Jamaica shoot wrapped as planned and not earlier.

Who cares if he's been injured - sorry Danny - he's done it before; he's got the best people on it. Don't milk it like M:I did with Cruise. It's too soon. Cmon Daniel, show Cruise who's the man and don't halt the filming.

Lol, I think Cruises ankle was snapped; Harrison Ford also broke a leg in his final Star Wars.

This injury is meant to have happened last week while Craig was in Jamaica.
Yesterday Wright was in Pinewood and looked like the production was still motoring along.
Waller-Bridge didn’t mention anything about production stalling during the Baftas on Sunday.

Plus, a few pages back a board member mentioned that Craig was snapped in NY over the weekend.

Sorry but I really don’t think that production has stalled and really won’t believe it until it’s confirmed by a more reputable source than an English newspaper.

A helicopter company (Nord Helikopter)has applied for permission to close the air space over the Atlantic Road in Møre og Romsdal 5th to 14th June for shooting scenes for Bond 25.
    sy964d67.jpg

They will be using two helicopters, one for camera equipment and one for people and other equipment, and as backup.According to NRK, there will probably also be shot scenes in Rauma.

Whoa terrific news, I hope they shoot some action there.

Yeah, upon reflection, I think this is the most likely scenario. The injury - if it did happen - didn't happen yesterday. It seems like old news already, in comparison with the updates from Norway and Wright's presence in Pinewood.
