Hear me and hear me well! The day will come, oh yes, mark my words, Nolan haters! Your day of reckoning is coming, when an evil wind will blow through your little playworld and wipe that smug smile off your face! And I'll be there in all my glory, watching, watching as it all comes crumbling down!

    Trolling much?

This thread is more dramatic than any making off behind the Scenes documentary could ever be.

    True it’s a real Hammerhead of a read ....

I got that one! It's a great comic for all Bond fans to read! Moonraker the book in modern times!

Welp, here we are guys. Just thirteen months to go until Bond 25 comes to the big screen across the globe. We made it. Now I wonder what the next big piece of news will be. Will we hear anything ahead of the big press conference next month?

Sure hope we'll hear at least a bit of rumours before then; either locations, actors/actresses or crew – and hopefully the composer.

I will be greatly confused after all this News Absence if there would be a press conference or any bigger leaks. It would be like being presented with a full buffet after months of asceticism. The digestive tract would collapse.

Not that it would happen, but imagine if there was no press conference, or production news. Just a teaser trailer and several months later the theatrical trailer. And nothing else.
Perhaps EON, after the fiasco of the Spectre script leaks, decided to keep their cards close to their chests, and reveal little to no news during production.
Very unlikely to happen, but in days before the internet it was like this. I think people would lose their minds nowadays. ;)

Avengers reveal their title with trailer because they want to build anticipation considering it's going to be last. Can't see why EON can't do that , they have more reason than anyone.

I kind of prefer the way they do it because I enjoyed watching the title reveal with my then fiancé in 2014 and I honestly am hoping for the same kind of thing... and wait didn’t EON do that with Die another Day I vaguely recall the press conference not giving away the title and people still thought it was going to be called Beyond the ice or Icebreaker till like May or June

I think people will adjust, even today.

The most successful and most anticipated recurring franchise operation in the business releases its biggest entry this April, and nothing much is known about Endgame except for its title. The marketing approach they are taking with this entry is very different from Infinity War. All they've released is a cryptic trailer.

I think what is more important these day than ever, in an internet savvy age, is expectations management. If one does that properly, then the audience can accept almost anything. If one misleads, disappoints in terms of scheduling or result, or gives the impression of chaos, then the knives come out as it were. Just as in the consumer space, the internet has made for a more demanding and unforgiving audience if expectations aren't met.

Wonder if he's just preparing in London, or if they'll be shooting action sequences there too.

I think it's safe to say there will be a stunt or two in the city.

London is a major location again? Seems a bit repetitive considering SF, SP and Fallout all used it just recently.

Given that London have featured a lot in the Craig era, that wouldn't be surprising. Will be interesting to see what type of stunt(s) they're planning – and where.

Nothing about that post indicates London as a major location.

If there are stunts happening, I'd consider that major.

I must think Run, Shoot and Jump scene from Skyfall and last shot of Spectre.
I can imagine a couple (police) cars on high speed will come from left (to arrest Bond on foot) and destroying that Angel. See Goldeneye where a horse falls on police car.

Possibly, but I doubt London's presence will be as prominent in this film as with SF.

I would just assume the stunt man is there to prep with other stunt men and the stunt coordinators and second unit, like they do on pretty much every James Bond film, or like any action film:

This period of time before production is the rehearsal period for the stunt team.

They have to be a well oiled machine before they hit location (and they will hit location days, or even weeks before first unit gets there (see M:I: BURJ KHALIFA building: the stunt crew was out there practicing what Cruise would be doing two weeks before he arrived. But their rehearsals start on a set somewhere so they can safely map the stunt out, then they go to location and practice, and then they bring in Cruise).

Of course, this being a Bond film, London will at least have some face time.

But to assume, for now, that it will prominently be displayed because a stuntman took a pic and has arrived in London, is just a little premature.

I do find it slightly odd how we're a month and a half away from filming and we've barely gotten any substantial casting or location rumours. At this point in SP's production, we knew that Lea Seydoux had been cast in a Bond girl role, that production was seeking an actor with a background in contact sports to play a physically-imposing henchman, that a car chase would take place through the streets of Rome, and that construction had started on a production-built house in the Austrian Alps that would see a plane crash into it.

Yes, I remember those tidbits. Maybr this one is more set bound to save on costs. SP was an outragously oversized production even in comparision with the other Craigs films. I could see Bond 25 being a smaller story, be more emotionally impactful.

I'd have to look into it further, but I don't remember that being the case. If memory serves, the 2nd unit filmed that sequence as Mendes, DC, and Naomie were filming the apartment scene in London. Perhaps it was the reveal that an odd black "aircraft" had been delivered for filming in Austria. I do remember that: we couldn't tell if it was a plane or a helicopter.

    No, the barn construction itself.

Just wondering: given the lack of rumours (which can be a coincidence or EON being clever about what's released); might we see a Bond film that features more scenes shot at Pinewood? It would be easier to avoid leaks if more scenes are shot behind closed doors, maybe?

Also wondering about the budget. A smaller budget might mean less location shooting, etc. – which might be a factor to the lack of location news (?)

I’ve had similar thinking. Sometimes going smaller can lead to a much better film, too. EON, at least right now, is being very secretive about the details.
