I'm looking forward to Rampage and Skyscraper this year. Both should be good fun.
Truly staggering.
Noted! On a bit of a 70's run, now. Having just finished the 70's Columbo episodes, I'm aiming to watch as many 70's films as possible throughout the year!

My gut feeling tells me that as a big screen adaption this is going to fail miserably. The strengths of the short film are far from cinematic.
Was Kung Fury the martial arts parody film that got crowdfunded through Kickstarter?
@Torgeirtrap, yes, that´s the one. It´s glorious. You can watch it on youtube:

Did not know that! Thanks for the link! :-)
Alita: Battle Angel is pushed from July 20th, 2018 to December 21st, 2018:

Can't wait for more Gerard Butler badassery! I'll be seeing Den of Thieves next week.
It´s also interesting to see he gained 40 pounds for this new movie, after declining for health reasons to gain weight for Michael Mann´s then-planned Ferrari film a few years ago.

That'll mark two Uwais-starring films for the summer. Should be a good one, then!
But Rampage looks like a lot of fun, I´ll definitely be seeing it.
Stefano Sollima, the director of Sicario 2 & creator of the TV series Gomorrah, is currently in talks to direct the first big screen adaptation of the Call of Duty video game franchise.
EDIT: First clip from Death Wish:
Denzel Washington is coming back sooner than expected - the release date for The Equalizer 2 has moved up from August 3rd to July 20th of this year. It now shares the same release day as Mile 22 (the Peter Berg action flick with Mark Wahlberg and Iko Uwais), both coming 1 week before Mission Impossible: Fallout.

Interesting. I hope Columbus does it justice. Despite the cringey fanbase reputation FNAF has, I believe the series has massive potential for greatness on the big screen.
