No, there's no Punisher in the MCEU. There's a Bernthal guy who is playing Batman with guns, but no Punisher that I know of. Mark Ruffalo's character was at one time screwing Black Widow in the films, but he is actually playing a green version of The Thing from Fantastic 4 that Marvel had to pay Fox to own. It's a bit messy to get into the particulars, but that's the gist of it.
At least I'll definitely have one thing to complain about. VERY disappointing.
Elfman even somehow manages to completely suck you out of the whole experience as a fan by quoting the main theme from THE AVENGERS of all things.
That is probably right. I must have read Affleck somewhere, and only one Affleck springs to mind.
I'll be honest the released tracks on YouTube I found very underwhelming
The OG justice league and Batman theme were prettt cool in the final battle. I expected more. There’s no solid “Batman track”. It’s more like you get a 5 second glimpse. Batman v Superman’s batman theme was better.
...Same generic modern day cheap soundtrack as it sounds. Nothing you'd expect from someone like Danny Elfman.
Has it been released?
For your listening disappointment, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns
As did I. I love the old themes but it just feels so wrong here, and even disregarding that feeling, they are still somehow the highlights of the score.
I really can't get my head past that Avengers theme reference during the final battle track. The fact that it comes after a statement of Elfman's Batman theme makes it stick out even more for me.
Cheers I'll give it a go
I imagine it will be an Aquaman teaser. Perhaps our first look at Black Manta and Ocean Master?

Why?
I suppose that's one way to look at it. I just figure post credit scenes are pretty much expected after comic book movies now days, regardless of studio. Why reinvent the wheel?
I'll admit I geeked out at 52 minutes onward Major Spoilers
He looks the part, or close enough.
@DaltonCraig007, I haven't checked into that thread for a while now, largely because I wanted to avoid Blade Runner 2049 spoilers when it first came out. The shame of it is that the movie never played in my area anyway because it got ripped from theaters so fast so it was pointless to avoid spoilers.
I never got to see it either. It lasted only a week in my local cinema and I kept meaning to travel to see it but it just never happened for me.
Yeah, that was shocking to me, @CraigMooreOHMSS. I haven't looked into how the film performed to avoid spoilers for the film itself, but from what I do know it didn't seem to perform well at all and I've seen it referred to as a bomb numerous times.
Funny it only lasted a week where you're at, when the biggest theater near my nowhere town didn't even have any plans to screen it whatsoever. I even did a wider search to see if any theaters within my county were showing it, and still nothing came up. That really bums me out, not only because the film did as badly as I worried it would, but also because I really wanted to see it on the big screen.
What a damn shame that is. I actually debated seeing it again MAYBE two weeks after release, and struggled to find a lot of showtimes in my area for it, which is something typically reserved for the summer months when so much is releasing. Such a shame it didn't perform well in theaters at all.
