    Brosnan and Kinnear have such cool chemistry. They should work together again. I haven't seen Salvation Boulevard so I don't know if they share any scenes.

    They do share a few scenes together. That one wasn't at all what I was expecting but was still pretty solid overall, uniquely different.

    Brendan Ingle was a truly great man and an absolute Sheffield legend. Pierce is honoured to be playing him, tbh. However, the producers have got no idea just how badly they've cocked-up by filming it in Leeds instead of Sheffield. It's like making a film about Celtic and filming it at Ibrox!

    I know he's 70 but Pierce went so quickly from "older, seasoned secret agent" to "older than dirt retirement home citizen" in just a couple of years.

    There's a good chance he'll be doing a East End accent for this one apparently, Brosnan + accent is always a treat!

    He is playing Ron?! Having read the books, I can't even begin to imagine Pierce in this role. A former trades union official with a West Ham tattoo on his neck, I'd always imagined someone like Ray Winstone for this part.

    But if this means we'll see Pierce with a thick cockney accent, that alone will make this film a must watch!

    The casting of Helen Mirren and Ben Kingsley is spot on though. Mirren in particular.
