    From an early For Your Eyes Only screenplay draft, Richard Maibaum's brilliant concept for OO7
    had him wearing a Santa Claus costume in a nail-biting scene of Hitchcockian suspense.
    [The producers rejected the idea as "too clownish--the equivalent of Bond in a gorilla suit!"]

    Thankfully, the character "Bibi" did remain in the script and eventual film.

    To get the Bond role actor Roger Moore met many challenges from the producers.
    Not least their arranged yuletide screen test with Harry Saltzman's daugher Hilary.
    A genuine pleasure for him.

    So many festively fun quotes to choose from, but I think we can kick off a new round for the Xmas week if we wrap up (see what I did there?) this round today.

    As always a difficult choice, and well done to everyone who contributed, but I can definitely see the resemblance, and I think we could write a whole script around Baby Bibi’s adventures with Uncle Roger, so the winner is

    I don't believe it. I was just making fun because I had recently read the quotes from Airplane! again.

    Thank you very much, but now I really have work to do...it's also my turn for The James Bond Movie Trivia Quiz. Allow a bit of time. I also have to go buy a Christmas tree tomorrow, and so on.
