    That's the fun of From Russia With Love, you have the triumvirate of Grant, Klebb, and Kronsteen, with Blofeld looming over them all. Of course, I still prefer Auric Goldfinger, but it's a close match for sure.

    I'm loath to name a definitive villain for any of the movies, especially here when the impression of who is the main villain matters quite a bit.

    The results are in, and the winner is From Russia With Love, by a margin of to 166-109-1. Disappointing as a Goldfinger fan, but From Russia With Love certainly seems to be the preferred movie these days. Ah, well, on to the next contest.

    I do like these films but both are near the bottom of my list. QoS sits slightly higher. Let's try to do this objectively.

    PTS: QoS (cool intro with the camera gliding over the water and sound fx, and White being in the boot amused me)
    Title Track: DAF (I can listen to QoS, but Bassey returned with another classic)
    Title Credits: DAF (not sure why QoS cops flack in this area- it's got all the elements)
    Main Villain: QoS (Greene is not an iconic villain, but at least he's not a caricature)
    Main Bond Girl: QoS (I like Tiffany, but the character is inconsistent)
    Overall Plot: QoS (simple and realistic)
    Dialogue: QoS (if you listen, you can actually learn something)

    QOS wins hands down for mew except theme tune. DAD by Dame Shirley knocks AWTD out of the ark imo. Other than that QOS oozes class and has the better acting talent.

    Thank you for pointing that out. I knew they were missing something but couldn't figure out what it was.

    @Virage, QoS benefits from being new but is significantly hurt by the shaky cam-fest. And you can declare categories a tie if you want to, just try not to do it with the whole movie.

    As opposed to virtually no humor in QOS. What we have here is the funniest Bond movie ever, cinematic Bond's great dark comedy, versus the grim and dour QOS. This is no contest at all. The only way you could vote for QOS in this category is if you don't like humor.

    Cinematography, in general, also includes lighting, which in my opinion is better then QOS. Also I remember being impressed with the desert shots and the non-action scenes, while DAF's shots are a bit dull for me.
