    @RogueAgent

Sarandon for Klebb might have been a trifle difficult. She was only 17 in '63. ;-)

That's ok, I was not even born then! :))

Ron Perlman as Elvis, giving Greene a much more formidable henchman.

Susan Sarandon as Pam Bouvier or perhaps Stacey Sutton.

Ron Perlman I could imagine him as Hugo Drax in a faithful adaptation of MR or as Le Chiffre.

Susan - Xenia Onatopp for sure!
    And possibly Holly in MR

Ron - Patrice in Skyfall or maybe as Le Chiffre

Perlman - Hugo Drax for some reason. I was thinking even Vargas, but have doubts about it now. Maybe Colonel Heller

Sarandon - not sure about her. Maybe Onatopp as suggested or even Elektra King

You can tell this is only a bit of fun

Ron Perlman, I've not got a lot of characters in mind. Maybe Braun in LTK

    Susan-Sarandon-by-Annie-Leibovitz.jpg

Susan Sarandon as the Major said in his post does not have 'Bond girl' looks. Though she is attractive. Maybe as Octopussy? Or perhaps a Pam Bouvier?
Other than that I'm lost. I'd like to see her as an ally in a movie, but am having a hard time finding the right role.

@Dimi, Good call with Susan Sarandon as Octopussy. I can also see her as Bond's psychologist evaluator Caroline, acting alongside Pierce.

@RogueAgent Yes, I can see Ron Perlman as Franz Sanchez- or maybe a creepier version of Stamper showing Bond his collection of chakra tools.

Steve would have been a great Leiter IMO. He has that Jack Lord thing going combined with an American James Bond in some way. Also, he reminds me, though vaguely, of Craig.

Gong Li, Way Lin. Pretty obvious, no? :-)

Steve Mcqueen in FRWL as Red Grant, Gong li li li long long as Kitty Susuki from YOLT. (or what ever her name was)

OK we have to keep the ages realistic, so that still bugs me a bit.

McQueen would have been an outstanding Leiter but they would have beefed up the role considerably. He was a huge star in the 60's. He does remind me slight of Craig, now that you mention it, DarthDimi.

Gong Li is a fine actress but too young for Kissy. Otherwise I would have her be Kissy. So barring that, and wanting to not go with the obvious (which is of course Wai Lin), I say have her be Elektra; adding another spin to that particular tale.

@4EverBonded, I was watching The Great Escape recently when it hit me exactly how much of a Craig vibe I got out of his posture and mannerisms. I don't know how legitimate my comparison is, but it encourages me now that you seem to see it too. ;-)

Wow, Gong Li as Elektra, why didn't I think of that? That Asian temperament added to Elektra's complexity, it could have also added a much needed sense of mystery to the character. Once the big reveal is done with, I always feel like Elektra has lost virtually all of my interest. At that point I turn to merely objectifying the stunningly beautiful Sophie Marceau, seeing only the good looks while the character is left empty. Some Oriental spin, a less obvious motive, I don't know, it could have worked well. Great suggestion!

McQueen always reminds me a bit of Daniel Craig, but where would I include him

Maybe a Jack Lord Leiter type, and then I'm struggling. Vargas maybe would be better or even Klaus Hergesheimer from what I remember of a last viewing of DAF

Can't look beyond Li as Kissy Suzuki or Wai Lin, or even Chu Mi (however you spell it) from TMWTGG

Craig looks a lot like McQueen, and QoS-Craig certainly acts like McQueen in Bullitt. The way he carries himself, and he doesn't speak often. From some of his shots from behind, I could swear it was Craig. The similarities are striking.

I'm not letting age be a factor, so McQueen for the Craig films.

McQueen in a Bond film would been something! An early Leiter is my first thought, but considering the name McQueen built during the 60s, I think a bigger role would have been more likely.

I found McQueen very evil-looking in this scene from The Thomas Crown Affair, so I could definitely see him as a villain. A bit out there maybe, but a OHMSS-Blofeld? Not considering him being bald. Other than Blofeld, maybe Grant in FRWL, or Count Lippe in TB.

Steve McQueen would be my Felix Leiter!

Gong Li would make a very nice Wai Lin!

I think Christopher Lambert would have served fine as a creepy Necros or possibly Jack Wade.

Sharon Stone was, IMO, in her prime in the first half of the 90s and a few years after that. I think she could have worked as Paris Carver. A younger Sharon might have convinced as Pam Bouvier though. ;-)

Well, @DarthDimi can you get another picture of Lambert? ;)
The one you put up is now swearing at us.
I can see him as Greene or Necros. Maybe.

Sharon for sure Paris Carver and I'll also say Xenia Onatopp - ha!
I have a hard time figuring her into a Bond film.

Christopher Lambert would be a great choice for Blofeld imo, with that creepy voice he has i think it would suit the character of Blofeld really well.

Sharon Stone, if she was still in her prime around the time of GE she would be good for Xenia Onnatop.

Heh, what happened to the Lambert picture ? I realize he's been in a few poor releases...

Chris Lambert would work, or could work - as, Truman Lodge or even Blofeld, but it would have to be specifically Charles Gray, I don't think he would fit in as the others. Other than that, once again, I'm struggling

Sharon Stone - I thought of Pussy Galore straight away. If not that, then maybe Anya Amasova or even Miranda Frost, and why not

Chris Lambert- if Bond's age, maybe Trevelyan?

    nPaLYrxZuxQ.jpg

Sharon Stone for Elektra King or Miranda Frost.

Christopher Lambert as Beam or Elvis (QOS)

    Sharon Stone as Paris Carver.

Gong Li for a future Bond movie as part of Quantum, mabey Quantum leader. If earlier in Die Another Day for the part of Miranda Frost.

I think that Christopher Lambert could have made a great Renard.

As for Sharon Stone, I like her in the role of Stacey Sutton. I think she would have come off as more intelligent and believable as a geologist. However, since she would have been even younger than Tanya Roberts at the time this might have been a problem. So can I cheat and also cast Dalton as Bond in AVTAK? I think that the two of them might have had some good chemistry together.

Christophe Lambert now would look pretty much like the novel OHMSS's Blofeld. I was never completely convinced about his acting skills though. He is good, but I am not certain if he could carry the role.

    - I'll agree with @pachazo, I think Lambert would've made an interesting Renard.

    - Stone should have been a Bond Girl in the wilderness years, either 1991 or 1993. I can't imagine EON casting her in a Bond after Basic Instinct. But if I had to put her in a film that exists, GoldenEye... as Xenia.

Christopher Lambert would be my Dario so he could team up with my Sanchez ( Ron Perlman!). Now that's a double team! :D

Sharon Stone would have to be my Honey Ryder.

Raquel would have made a fine Domino IMO.

As for Willem, I'm torn between Ed Killifer, Max Zorin and possibly Jack Wade. :-)
