1) 1960's (By a considerable margin)

2) 2000's/2010's (SF really helped to boost this decade tag team to second place)

3) 1980's (Pretty solid decade overall)

4) 1970's (Lots of ups and downs)

5) 1990's (Meh)

6 - The TB Junkanoo

5 - Zorin's horse sale party (You gotta love Zorin's taste!)

3 - Green Planet's money raiser (Good music, nice location)

2 - Largo's charity event (NSNA) (Come on, this one has 80s computer games in it. :p)

1 - Carver's media party. (Cool music, nice light show, great location.)

1. The Junkanoo. I missed most of it, thanks to Fiona.
2. Carver's network launch party- until Broz gatecrashes it, that is.
3. Max Largo's charity fundraiser. Bond can tango!
4. The pool party at Hector's Spanish villa. Made it last all night, we did.
5. The Rio Carnival. Even Jaws gets his wiggle on.
6. Greene's charity fundraiser. I still have the invite; ;)

Most disappointing party:

In TLD, the audience is fooled into thinking they're about to experience Dalts partying with two women. Instead, we're treated to an unnecessary conversation between him and a block of wood.

To be honest, I really hated that sleezy saxophone cue in TLD. It's as bad as the Banjo cue from Goldfinger.

Oh, I love me some sleazy saxophone, but I can't remember that particular cue. I think the whole scene feels shoehorned in and a bit out of place in an otherwise superb film.

6 - Jump-up at Pussfellar's. Makes me want to go nuts in Jamaican style. ;-)

5 - Underneath the mango tree as Bond wakes up. And at that point he hadn't even seen the girl yet. Boy, was he in for a big treat. ;-)

4 - Taking the boat to Crab Key. There's an ominous quality to this music and it's quite to my liking.

3 - "Bond, James Bond" along with The Bond Theme. Oh yeah!

2 - Underneath the mango tree recording in Miss Taro's place, as Bond coldly awaits a killer to pay him a visit. I love this ironical use of music.

1 - OT, any film that opens with something as bold as the Bond Theme wins in my book.
• 6. "Bond vs. the tarantula". What? It makes me laugh.
5. Theme song. It's just the Bond theme, but...it's the Bond theme.
4. "Three Blind Mice". It's the first piece of music in the series; it deserves a mention.
3. "Underneath the Mango Tree," as performed by Honey Ryder & James Bond.
2. "Jump Up". I'm inordinately fond of this number.
1. "Bond, James Bond". Was it going to be anything else?

1. Anytime the James Bond theme is used.
2. Tarantula tension music.
3. The Jump up.
4. The instrumental version of Underneath the Mango tree that plays at the end when Bond is kissing Honey.
5.The gunbarrel sound effects...(grasping for straws at this point.)
6. One Million Dollars Mister Bond!

Dr. No to me has the weakest Bond score.

It sure does, @Murdock, although with NSNA included, I'm not so sure... ;-)

1. The (recurring) James Bond Theme (naturally)
2. Underneath the Mango Tree (just an interesting little song that fits the tropical theme of DN)
3. Three Blind Mice (was fond of this one; just a very interesting introductory song)
4. Tarantula Music (the tension and the repeated "DUN, DUN, DUN!" when Bond kills it)
5. Jump Up (just an interesting, upbeat song)
6. Dr. No's Introduction (it wasn't amazing, but not bad either)

I agree, Dr. No's soundtrack is not one of the series' strongest, but I am fond of some of it. It's just light and fun, and that's why I like it.

To be fair, NSNA has a few decent cues. I rather like the short "Bond is Back." music ques when he goes to the health spa, and I like the tango music. It's the action cues that fall flat.

Sure thing DD -

6. Sound effects during the GB. First time I saw this film, I knew that my life was about to change. Also it was used when Bond espaces the ship in Hong Kong harbour in DAD.

5. When Leiter "rescues" Bond and Honey. Yes, it's cheesy, but I still like it. One feels that one just had an quite excellent adventure.

4. Bond is a very nervous passenger.

3. Three blind mice, there they go!

2. Music as they go to Crab Key

1. James Bond Theme baby!!!!

6 - Train to Zagreb (very dramatic music, much to my liking)

5 - Monroe's FRWL during end titles

4 - Gypsy camp fight: 007 Theme

3 - Gypsy camp fight: girl trouble (I love the tension)

2 - Suspenseful, ambient music when Blofeld converses with Klebb and Kronsteen

1- Title theme jumps into the Bond Theme. I love the powerful gongs!

One of my favourite all time Bond musical moments is "007 Takes the Lektor". Beautiful.
