    should bring back the ranking system! 00 agents after 1000 post and 6 months and respected just like in the old forum

    Pfffft. Having a 'Double-Oh' ranking didn't mean you were respected.

    Seeing as that the forum was launched in March, I'd guess an equivalent would be not be in place until the same time next year at the earliest, if at all. Of course, the upside is this time some tweaking can be done to the rankings.

    A few things:

    With many great features now part of the site, will the location box appear again at some point? That was always a great source of humour and personality. Also, is it possible for that and all the other info to be put down the left hand site instead of along the top?

    In the 'Skyfall' articles, the text at the button of the screen that reads "The 23rd James Bond film, "Skyfall", will commence principal studio photography on 7th November 2011" should be changed to "The 23rd James Bond film, "Skyfall", commenced principal studio photography on 7th November 2011".

    Also, is now the time to change the "Skyfall - Bond 23 (2012)" to "Skyfall (2012)"? It's been a while...

    This bug has been reported on the Upgrades thread, but I'm posting it here too:

    When accessing the mobile version of the site, clicking on a thread gets you to the first post instead of the first unread post (or the last post if there are no unread posts).

    Switching to Full Site solves this, but makes it hard to read the text.

    I'd just like to give a tip of a hat to Mi6 for allowing us to finally use our SN to log in. My email is really long and annoying to type in.

    I just wanna say since your last update, my load times have been very quick for this site. Sometimes in the past I would have to wait over a minute to get a page to load, but now everything is working smoothly for me!!!! I'm very happy :D

    I posted about this further up but the text at the bottom of the most recent Skyfall article (Ben Whishaw is Q) still reads "The 23rd James Bond film, "Skyfall", will commence principal studio photography on 7th November 2011".

    Also the text on the front page, spells the title of the film with a capital 'f'. No biggie but it's still an error. ;)

    Sometimes when you are in the middle of a post the screen may go static and although it usually saves your work, you are unable to continue or even go back to discussions and then I go back to the main M16 page and have to hit 'discussions' once again on a new page. It's only a minor quibble but frustrating nonetheless. I find this has occured say about twice out of the last 30 times or so

    On this post I just made, the quote tags don't work, even though they look ok in the post preview...

    Also, the spoiler tags in the post preview look like this:

    EDIT: Ok, not like this at all. I meant the spoiler tags and the text between them are visible in the preview.

    Suggestion:

    An open, live chat. I know some gaming fan sites have them, where members that are online can chat in real time. Just a thought. Would be useful for press conferences and breaking news.

    Can SOMEONE PLEASE sort out the trivia and games section what do: Your favorite Opening titles and What are you doing over the holidays doing there and shouldn't the CapCons be moved there???

    Trivia is a suitable section for the 'Favourite Opening Titles' thread, seeing as it's more of a pure poll thread than a discussion one. And the CapCon thread has nothing to do with Bond, hence it's in General Discussion (where all general non-Bond topics should be).

    Do you see my point? :)

    CapCons non-Bond? We have a Bond in every photo in the BondCapCon and reference Bond quite a lot in the BlofeldCatCapCon. I think the threads are very much Bond.

    I didn't know we had a BondCapCon. I was referring to the BlofeldCatCapCon which definitely should be in General.

    I'll move BondCapCon to Trivia and Games, if I find it ;)

    ^ If the Bondcapcon goes in the catcapcon has to go in as after all it's a game based on Blofeld's cat who appeared in SIX bond films.

    And I just realized the operning titles are my theard. I'll move it BECAUSE IT IS OPINION NOT TRIVIA!!!!!!!!!!

    You mean a thread full of random cat photos is Bond related just because there's a cat in six Bond movies?

    About your thread, I never said that it wasn't about opinion. But in this case it's more of a ranking/trivia/poll than a discussion, and usually we put those in that section (just compare it with the other threads in there and you'll see the pattern). However, if you <i>really</i> want it in Bond Movies (by the way, Trivia is Bond Movies too, it's just a sub-section..) I'm not going to stop you.

    I think something need to be done about poster posting in news when it isnt news...is there anything that can be done?

    I guess this is where any problems go or technical difficulties should be made aware etc

    It's just that in about the last 15 minutes the screen has gone static three times, when I was in the middle of posts, and had no option but to shut down and go back to MI6 Home page and re-enter from there, this has happened before and while not a major issue it can be damn well frustrating at times.

    Is there anyone else who has experienced these complaints, i.e. I am typing now, and all of a sudden the page freezes and I can do no more than go back to main page. my work is saved but even so it's a hassle at the best of times

    Any help or advice would be appreciated

    It's being dealt with. I got tired of moving threads all the time too ;)

    I see a lot of members have problems with double-posts. Sometimes, when I've finished typing and I press the 'Post Comment' button, two exact posts will appear. Now if I reload the current page from here, the second post always goes away. Hope this helps.

    Just reporting a bug: I tried to post some photos here but for some strange reason it didn't work. I tried both the tags given by the comment editor and the HTML <img> tags. Both failed. Interestingly, they both work if put at the top of the comment.

    Done a limited search. Do we have a podcast for mi6 or a dedicated Internet radio station? I would love a web station, is there a bond dedicated radio resource, does anyone know please?


    Edit found a great bond podcast resource. No radio station though.
