    OK,i will be honest here and say that i have been chased by another Bond website for a while recently,with former members who show respect.(naming no names re the site, and its a different user name) and i am heading their way,i have let them know tonight.

    I wish you all the best and keep this lovely site going,it took us a lot to set it up,i'm just following others who have been poached or gone.

    KTBEU (or Keeping The British End Up)..you better keep it up or else !!..over to you youngsters !!

    Sorry this thread closing has upset you so much, sorry that you feel your input is not appreciated or whatever is making you feel this determined to leave. That is a shame. You are a longstanding good member here. We enjoy your contributions. I do hope you join us again.

    No,this was just a confirmation i was told would happen,nothing about the thread,i have had them closed for years by proper respected mods,i'm one of the 'hangers on' haha.

    This is truly sad news @barryt007 I hope this isn't a permanent end to your time at Mi6. You've been a fantastic member, but more importantly to me, a great friend and fellow supporter of OP for as long as I can recall. I hope you find time to say hello from time to time.

    Sorry to hear that you are leaving us, Barry, but I respect your decision and wish you every good fortune on your new Bond forum. We need a good balance of all ages and persuasions on this community and I'll be sorry to see you go. Keep well and fight the good fight! And return any time you like! :)

    Like @4EverBonded I'm one of the older members, so the age range we have here is one of the attractive things we have. What we don't have is egos. So I hope and pray your new site is like that Barry. And I hope it has the same News service we have here, because that is what drives a great Bond site like this.

    You needn't worry, he got his. Apparently someone left a huge set of tire spikes in the middle of the road that he drives his Aston home by every day at very high speeds, and he seems to be in serious condition after having rolled the car several times.

    hello, I am back after another :-O hiatus. I was in Prague since the middle of may. most probably the most epic summer I ever had ! :) returned back to France last week. I hope I won't have to make another long hiatus from this community again, time for me to start talking about James Bond again :D
