I'd ask him if he was happy about Spectre. Whether he thought some things could have been done better (if so, what?), and how he's going to ensure (assuming he's back) that they get it right next time.

Curious if asked how Craig would answer. I remember a few weeks back Craig was quoted as saying something like he liked the foster brother angle.... maybe I dreamed that.

Either mentioned in this thread or the replacement thread.
That's why I wanted to have that question asked. It's sort of open ended, and gives him an opportunity to be honest and off the cuff.

He's a perfectionist (from what we know) and so I'm assuming he'll have something critical to say and I'm curious to see what aspects he wasn't happy about and most wishes were done differently. It could give us clues as to how they move forward.

And if he says that he likes Spectre fine as it is?

I would hope for a little more from him than that, as an actor and as the co-producer, but if that's what we get then it's a clue as well. It could suggest he's done, because he's been known to comment on his films in between releases in the past - suggesting a desire for improvement.

Nicholas Schminde is asking what questions should be asked on Oct 7th via Twitter. If anyone has any, I'd be willing to pass them on for you.

Please just have them ask Mr. Craig if he has determined whether or not he'll be back for one more Bond film.

'Dan, what did you think of the step brother angle and are you aware that the vast majority of Bond fans think it's an atrocious concept?'

I've been a strong advocate for him to return but If he defends this or worse says he thought it gave a bit of extra personal drama/tension then I'd lay out the red carpet for Elba/Turner myself.

If he says it was done over his head and he thought it was a bag of wank I'd sign him up for another 3 films.

With an option for 2 more films after that if he says Newman's work on SP was awful.

If he says Rory Kinnear is duller than a soggy packet of Rich Tea biscuits I'd let him have 10% of the profits too.

Wizard I have to ask how is that script for your "adventure with Bill Tanner" film coming I was told it's a 2 hour snuff film in the vein of Quentin Tarantino

I thought Quentin left the project due to "creative differences."

It's no wonder given how hard it is for him to find a job. I hear he's in the fashion industry now, specializing in female wardrobe.

I would ask him what his favorite film of his era is & what the future holds for him & the life he has created.

The key to getting answers out of Craig is to let him talk & just sit & listen

I can just imagine the Bond fans including myself, on the verge of falling off their seats, food in the mouth unable to be swallowed until the answer, following the question we all hope will be asked: "Bond: returning or not returning?" :)

James Bond day will arrive before Dan's interview as well, so we may hear something from EON on the day in some capacity, however slim the details. They always do something for October 5th.

They've always done something on Bond day since 2012?

If my memory serves me, yes. Obviously 2012 was the first year with Skyfall related events, and 2015's James Bond Day saw the release of Spectre related things, but I think the date during 2013 and 2014 saw special Bond related exhibitions and the like as well. Maybe I imagined it, who knows; those near London would know better, as they were around the area of celebration during those times.

Obviously the James Bond days are the biggest when that year is seeing a Bond movie being released, giving a pertinent or relevant reason to really celebrate, but with none of that on the table at this point, it's less assured, I admit. But it seems the right climate for getting something on the 5th, some mention of Bond at the very least, even if, like 2013 and 2014 there's no upcoming film to tease with the release of a title song or other item that they usually reveal at this time.

With the 5th happening just two days prior to Dan's interview makes me hope we get something, anything related to Bond 25 or the larger future of the series from EON. It would feel weird not to, in this case.

As depressing as this might sound, I'm watching Casino Royale right now thinking that it may very well be the last time while Craig is still officially Bond.

So you think 'Bond Day', a day to annually celebrate Bond, is reserved for announcing the departure of the current Bond? Or that a pre-publicised event called 'Beyond Bond' is? Don't see too much logic to either if I'm honest.

i wouldn't be surprised if Oct. 7th comes and goes, and we end up with still no answer...

the question of Bond 25, in or out, is bound to come up.. but i could see Dan being political about it, and not giving a definitive answer one way or the other... i picture something along the lines of "well, i've got a few things lined up right now at the moment, and i haven't had any formal discussions with Barbara or Michael yet... we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."..

i think i'll slit my own wrists if we end up with a response like that.. lol..

nothing would please me more, if we got a straight up "yes" or "no" answer, that way we can at least move forward knowing that we'll be getting at least one more film with him - or we can start officially looking towards who's next...... but i wouldn't be shocked if we get the "nothing to report" statement..

    ..ugh.

Sadly, I am pretty sure of that as well. Another reason for some to grill him, I suppose.

    Does he?
He has been a reliable source, not so sure his relationship with EON is as strong as it once was.

I hope we get something come October 7th. Sadly, I think it will be more waiting, lots of deciphering, and many, many more pages of similar content.
