    Mabey should instrumental version of song for maintitles and song for the end credits. For a very long time i hoped in end song for end credits and there start those with last movie footage. Last time was Goldeneye. Octopussy and LTK be very good.



    I must think about this again with see all those people in France celebrating that won the WK again after 20 years.

    A Blofeld return is a must at this point. He didn't get arrested and locked away for no reason. As long as Daniel Craig is James Bond he will be back. I say this because of all old characters that are returning across 007 media.

    I expect Blofeld to return recast when another actor is in place. Getting him locked up wasn't because they planned him coming back in Bond 25, they just did that so they can have that option to bring him back if they wanted. That's why they ultimately decided not to shoot his scripted death scene in DAF because they wanted save him for a possible return. And then McClory threw a wrench in that.

    Blofeld is a terrible villain and should never be introduced into Bond cinematic history ever again.

    Yes, I agree. It would have been more effective had they shown some patience and kept him him in the shadows for several films, or at least two.

    Blofeld is really a character of his time. There was no need to bring him back and he really wasn't all that effective, in especially in light of the highly possible chance that Boyle won't use him for Bond 25.

    I was very pleased with „Quantum“ and how they had set up the Organization. But that they eventually use SPECTRE again made full sense - I liked the Rome meeting until the „cuckoo“.

    But Blofeld in SP was more a caricature of what Fleming envisioned or we saw on film in the 60s than Dr.Evil was in Austin Powers.

    One of the other problems is that a lot of people don't even know who Blofeld is. After the constant protesting from Waltz that he's not Blofeld and that wack reveal, the whole thing just felt flat and had no impact whatsoever. Some of the reactions from people towards Oberhauser revealing himself to be Blofeld have been quite hilarious. The character needed to be built up and shrouded in legit mystery for audiences to care and for the character to be meaningful but, in the end, we got what we got. Unfortunately.

    The same with SPECTRE.

    Many around the time of release I spoke to didn’t know what it was or that Blofeld has always been tied with them.

    Blofeld only means something to audiences members who are old guys who saw the originals in the 60’s and nutter fans.

    You can bring back iconography like the DB5 because it’s symbolic, just an image, Blofeld is not that and it’s crazy to think the team who made the last film thought he was and likely put him on a Darth Vader/Joker level of having impacted the popular concencious in regards to 007.

    With Boyle is the hotseat, we know Bond 25 will be one of the most character dirven Bond films to date, and with most of the action focused on Bond I'm order to give Craig the send off. They will lean heavily on the personal in this one, as the outward trappings of 007 seemed to fail them, and there is now a pattern of taking risks and reaping rewards with CR, and SF. Bond 25 will be the most risky entry and thusly the budget, runtime and scope will be reined in to account for such a concept. This will be a character piece, about a Bond in the later stage of this career, and that will take presidence over any actual real world threat, or fresh villany. For this reason, I would not worry about updates being sparse for the next breif time, as they could start making this movie in March 2019 and still make the release date of October. I don't think they are aiming for a total return close to that of SF, like they were with SP and pulling out all the stops to get their. Its not the same case now.

    My prediction is Bond 25 will have a budget of 120 million and target 700 - 750 million US.

    I guess it all depends on what one considers "personal" as well. At the end of the day, all I wish for is that it's a fresh interesting idea.
