I think we all need to move on. Life is too short to worry about this.

    who is he talking about

Yes, must admit this is one of the more unnecessary arguments I've seen on this forum... and I remember the great 'can Bond be played by a black actor' and 'is the face in the SF title sequence a child' arguments of '22....

I don't know you're all fighting for literally no reason whatsoever.

My balls really do sweat too much at night. And I really am concerned. And I really want groinless pyjama bottoms. And I really am asking for recommendations.

Perhaps cut a hole in the pyjama bottoms?

    I don't know. Ask him.
But as I said, via PM. We're going way, way off topic here.

What is going on lol. I think you all have argued yourselves into a circle. It's not fair to say @mtm has bad intentions, at least I've never seen any indication. He's one of the most active, respectful members I've interacted with on these forums, even if we haven't always agreed. He often puts me in MY place as someone who tends to antagonize and troll (I'm talking about myself). I hope we can all actually move as had been said a dozen times by now. Move on.

Try sea island cotton pants. Works wonders for me (and Bond).... ;)

Cowboy Chaps but made from lightweight cotton would have been perfect.

I am also considering just cutting holes in mine.

Trying desperately to keep this Bond related, even though we are straying way off topic.

    How about this - https://www.bondsuits.com/navy-silk-dressing-gown-thunderball/

It was also what Fleming Bond wore too. Silk robe from Hong Kong. At the end of the day, when Bond is going to bed, he typically wears a single garment: a dark blue silk pyjama coat with a loose belt around his waist in lieu of buttons. It is mentioned specifically in both From Russia With Love and Casino Royale, when he wears it over his swimming trunks:
Bond had always disliked pyjamas and had slept naked until in Hong Kong at the end of the war he came across the perfect compromise. This was a pyjama-coat which came almost down to the knees. It had no buttons, but there was a loose belt round the waist. The sleeves were wide and short, ending just above the elbow. The result was cool and comfortable…

This should solve your sweaty Thunderballs problem...

Keeping ones testicles air cooled like a Porchse engine, is good practice. Nobody wants a musty ballsack, but this isn’t the thread for that. Come on, peeps, let’s get this back on topic.

    Moving swiftly on...

Not my suggestion, but a friend of mine seems to like the idea of Jacob Collins-Levy as a possible contender. 30 years old, Australian, been in stuff like The White Princess and The Witcher: Blood Origin. Not seen him in anything off the top of my head but if anyone else has what do they think?

Well now we're all on the same page. :))
I'll raise a glass to that Sir.

So, getting us back on track. Who could/should be a Bond actor?

Now that the mods have made this thread uncomfortable, I'm scared to say. But I'd like to say that I don't think Aidan Turner is out of the running for any reason, and he'd be a good Bond and certainly better odds than an absolute nobody.

Remember, they wanted younger for CR as well and ended up going with simply the best choice available, regardless of their initial expectations. I'd say he's in the mix until we get more solid reports of who they're actually talking to.

As for Jacob Collins-Levy... I would like a Bond with lips, but that's subjective. Haven't seen him act. Seems a bit of a boring choice in the end.

Sorry @LucknFate how have the mods made this thread uncomfortable?

Concerning the next Bond, there's little to go on, other that the brief citeria outline by EON to the press, that we all know.
  • At least we'll get to see Fassbender as a real world assassin in The Killer, releasing this Autumn. Between that and The Gray Man we might have some inspiration for creating the next Bond films.

Off topic but very urgent. My balls sweat too much at night under boxers/pyjamas/bedcovers. I am scared it's lowering my sperm count. Does anyone know of any loungewear that lacks fabric specifically in the groin area.

You stop. @Benny is just doing his job, and well enough, I'd say. He's far more knowledgeable of forum etiquete than you are. So do play nicely and be respectful of the ones who make these forums a reality. If it weren't for @Benny, none of us would be here, this house would not be standing, trust me.

Another lost concept at the moment.
