Well, after the week I've had, I'm off to see Justice League tonight.

For the rest of the weekend I'll be celebrating as I had an interview for promotion and work and only went and bloody got it. So chuffed.

I hope he does 'Secret Agent Man'!

To my shame, I had no idea Johnny Rivers was still with us, let alone performing. I'd love to see him live. (Also, look at his website!)

Saw Johnny Rivers at The Canyon in Agoura Hills, CA last night. His band opened with a nice version of THE JAMES BOND THEME, he walked out about halfway through and launch into the guitar solo. Of course his final encore was SECRET AGENT MAN.

That sounds fantastic. I'll keep an eye out in case he does a UK gig!

I'm off to Berlin in the morning for a long weekend. Not biking this time: going with Ryanair, which is a whole different kind of adventure.

I fully expect you to read "The Living Daylights" while enjoying autumn in Berlin!

(and to try the draught Löwenbräu and matjes herrings smothered in cream and onion rings)

Third weekend in a row working, my life work balance needs adjusting

Feel your pain my friend as I have still got at least another 4 to 5 weeks yet doing 6 days a week. Looking forward to a regular working week again in the new year.

I have to finish LTK on Saturday night. Been watching it over two nights so far, one hour here, half an hour there. Not sure why I can't watch it all at once. Maybe I am just trying to stretch it out as long as possible...
it's that good I don't want it to end!
