    Has anyone who has read these think they're any good? Are they as good as the Titan reprints because I have really been enjoying Horak and Lawrence's work for the most part.

    Referring to Vargr? Yes I enjoyed it. Bond is far more lethal and "Flemingish" than Craig's last two films. Very nice contemporary take that's true to Fleming.

    Referring to Vargr? Yes I enjoyed it. Bond is far more lethal and "Flemingish" than Craig's last two films. Very nice contemporary take that's true to Fleming.

    Bond isn't related to any of the villains. No personal vendetta until the bad guys push Bond to go medieval in the last issue of the arc.

    I wouldn't really compare them to the Titan reprints since those were completely different variation of comics (strips) than what essential comic books are. You'll find that they are consecutive ongoing magazine type of adventures telling you a story with 25 pages per issue. But, if you're rather impatient to getting deep into the story, then wait for the complete edition to come out, which would be in the vein of a graphic novel, much like Eclipse/Dark Horse's takes on James Bond comic books.

    I'm in imaginary mode again. Casting this time.

    I added a romance date night right before the warehouse scene though ...adds nothing but expands the role of the female Berlin agent. She is later killed by Masters of course.

    Also added a barge crane to flip the Bentley to avoid comparison to SP.

    Ok cast.

    Bond now is Jack Hutson
    M Sir Ben Kinsley

    Kurjak has to be played by a strong enough actor to pull off his last scene. My original imaginary casting doesn't work now for me.

    Goran Visnjic doesn't work? Alternatively, we could put Jesper Christensen in the role, too. Even Masters saw the resemblance between the actor and his interpretation of Kurjak. What do you think?

    Maybe Cillian Murphy I think is his name. Kind of a creepy actor if I have the name right.

    As for Cillian Murphy, I think he's too American for Kurjak.

    Maybe so ...my thought too. And no this is a new fighting style based on gunkata... developed by an IFC fighter.

    Similar to Christensen..how about Jacek Koman?

    Yes, both worked on The International but that wasn't why I picked. I read a Mahaffie interview that impressed me and Griebe was an old @bondjames recommendation on another thread.

    @mcdonbb, sadly nothing as of yet, mate. I think they'll release the preview pictures only a week before the release.

    As for The VARGR Full Edition, it'll be coming with a few brand new artworks from the development stages so that might be intriguing.

    The art inside is too safe, if you know what I mean. But, the story is worth it.

    It's set to come out on 17 August 2016.

    Very much so. Maybe we are witnessing history in the making. Bond becoming established in the comic book world, this time for good. Who knows, maybe this will be considered a 'legendary' Run in ten years from now, only time will tell. There is very little to compete against when it comes to Bond comics.
