  Sky Active - is this the 'red button' thing? I have Sky News so can i watch it on my TV?

  No, it's a service only available online to Sky subscribers within the UK. No news on whether the conference will be able to be viewed via the red button yet. I'd hope so but this being Sky... ;-)
  
  How annoying.

  I have Sky Go on my PC so i will try on that. i really want to see it live!

  if the presser is at 11:30am across the pond.. then what time would that be here in the states?.. Eastern time zone, that is.... forgive me, but i am terrible with time zone stuff. lol

  I was thinking the same thing, @Kerim. We've got half a dozen threads dedicated to details of the announcement (the annoucement itself, casting, etc.). Maybe it would be easier to have a single thread for discussing it.
  
  But I think it would be very difficult to discuss it without discussing spoilers. It would be better to have one thread for spoilers so that people who dno't want to know can shy away from it.

  Why would confirming or denying that do anything other than hamper their preparations? As I mentioned, last thing they want is hordes of fans outside.
  MI6 will be reporting live from inside the event on the Live Blog in the morning.

  Hmmm, that Sky News link (freetv.com) isn't particularly good - it keeps pausing an needing to re-buffer. I'll leave it open for a while and see what happens.

  That Sky News link is just a recode of the feed from the Sky News front page. It is the International edition (packaged stories - not live) if you are outside the UK. You can watch the live UK feed from their homepage, no dodgy links required.
