    They had a whole line ran in the early 2000's if I recall correctly.

    Did you add the decklights in digitally, or paint them on manually?

    I'm not good at painting on a very tiny scale, However since I'm doing this digitally, It's easy to add some glow effects to give a realistic look to it.

    I have both. I was very surprised when I got my DST version because I was expecting it to be the same size but made of plastic.     Star Trek: The Motion Picture- Big, beautiful, high concept.
    Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan- Energetic, emotional.
    Star Trek III: The Search For Spock- Heartfelt, exciting.
    Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home- Funny, heartfelt, closure.
    Star Trek V: The Final Frontier- Ambitious, funny.
    Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country- Exciting, thoughtful, intrigue, goodbye.

    Like Bond movies, no two the same, no one perfection. Unlike bond movies, a relatively short run.

    Just sayin'. :D

    In all my life I can't recall a film I wanted to see more than Search for Spock, the Impact Wrath of Khan made no other film had that impact. At that age only Empire came close.

    New films are entertaining though not a patch on Shatner! Shatner and his abnormal ceritonin levels is a god always will be B-)

    Search For Spock was definitely my "Empire" as well. And Voyage Home was my "Return". Funny, never thought about it like that before.

    Remember watching Search for first time at a school friends house the anticipation was immence. When Sarek mind melded with Kirk at age of ten totally blew me away, great depth and history of the show gave it weight. When enterprise self destructed it was a seminal event back then. To me these film were as good as it got :)

    Maybe I am biased though these films the good ones only get better and many modern films in the same genre don't come close. @chrisisall you touched upon it. The good trek films and good movies of that era had heart.

    Yes, today's movies centre on action almost exclusively. Which is why I love QOS- it has heart. For all its arguable failings, it makes me FEEL for the characters. It's a throwback to when characters counted more than shock & awe.
    I may be biased as well...

    I agree I love QOS think its far superior to SF simply because I can relate to the characters and what they are going through. Quantum is intense and real despite its well documentented short comings. I think what it comes down to is I believed in Craig's Bond in that film, his actions and intensity were consistent to what was set up in Casino. Felt in Skyfall the character and motivations changed.

    Off topic though I did not believe in Bond in Skyfall. That's fundamentally why I don't like the film,though that's relative to his first two excellent movies.

    Camille is a good centre point in QOS I find Bond shows humanity because of Camilles character.

    I really have tried with that film and respect other peoples opinions, its superficial Bond for me I am afraid. I rather watch DAD simply because DAD admits to what type of film it is. Lol

    Lol The execution let that film down and falling out with ILM and budgeterary concerns. If only Connery had played Cybok would have been interesting, though he had a planet named after him. Though admittedly Laurence Luckinbel was very good. Love the opening scene Kirk climbing Yosemiti, and the underlining message of go climbe a rock... Simply because its there. Good themes in that film. The camp fire scene and row row your boat melody is classic. ^:)^

    Really...? Skyfall is like Generations? I don't think I had my brain medicine to comprehend that. Skyfall has its flaws but it isn't a mangled up mess of bad writing and horrible convoluted storytelling. Silva's plot is over the top yes, but launching a missile at a sun to have a magic space entity fly over a planet to pick up someone when they could have just flew a ship into it is beyond stupid. Watch Red Letter Media's review of Generations. It picks that turd apart piece by piece. Skyfall is more comparable to First Contact.

    Still, comparing the Worst trek movie to a good Bond film isn't going to hold up well. Kirk got stuck under a bridge and M got shot in the side. At least she had a decent death. Kirk's was lame and shallow as the grave Picard left him.

    OMG, I just got STIV bluray in the post and looked at a couple of scenes... I am blown away :-O
    EDITED TO ADD: We just finished it and wow, no wonder it was the highest grosser in the original cast movies. And this BR looked just like I remember it in cinema. TMP & TUD are still my top two, but TVH is a super-solid #3.

    Hopefully Search for Spock on Bluray should arrive today, think the escape from space dock may be awesome, just a hunch!

    TSFS & TUC had the most fantastically beautiful Enterprise photography IMHO.
