Very sad to hear of the death of Bruce Glover too. I had been his friend on Facebook for about 10 years. He used to "poke" me too out of the blue and I'd return the favour. He also wished me happy birthday twice which was nice. Wint and Kidd were the real highlight of DAF and such a good and memorable set of henchmen. Rest easy, Bruce, old pal.

That's awesome that he was your friend on Facebook. I also find Wint and Kidd as one of the best things from DAF. RIP Bruce Glover, a great character actor.

Damn this sucks. He was great to fans. For quite a few years he'd be the first to wish me a Happy Birthday on Facebook, even though we'd never actually met. A sad day for Bond fans. :(

Very sad to learn of the passing of Bruce Glover. As with many Bond fans, I’ve been friends with Bruce on Facebook for many years. We’d occasionally share a PM with each other. He was always so engaging and humble. A lovely man and a brilliant character actor. RIP Bruce.

RIP Bruce Glover, one of the highlights of a film I really like. Nice to see several of you knew him via FB, I'm not surprised he was a very likeable person. May he rest in peace.

There's a great interview with Bruce Glover on James Bond Radio. It's well worth a watch:

    George McFly's dad

    RIP

Daf is terrible, but he was quality in it
  • He was a great villain. Glover also appeared in an episode of the A-Team as did many other Bond actors.

Modern day Bond movie posters should use his influence. Not this Bond solo or one other person crap. A mix of characters helps make a good Bond poster standout.

Yes, I agree. Sadly the Bond posters haven't really been like this since about TLD or so which was the last painted one. Painted poster art seemed to go out of fashion after that.
