I failed to put to work my intention to watch SHAFT again upon learning about his passing due to some other engagements, but I'll hang on to it. Even interrupting my Fritz Lang spree.

Richard Roundtree in LALD. Fitting that the topic of 'black movies' be present here. I've always suspected the set dressers choose books and magazines with subjects that hint at events in the respective film. NTTD is a great example of this theory.

I haven't seen much of Friends, but Matthew Perry was just fantastic in The Whole Nine Yards, and he and Bruce Willis made a great duo. I'm also interested in checking out his work in The Odd Couple.

    RIP Matthew Perry

It's hard to believe that this is meant to be children's television. It's really for adults at times, particularly this Two-Face two-parter.

Saddened to hear about Matthew Perry's passing.

I grew up watching "Friends", and Chandler was always my favourite character. Quite honestly saw a lot of him coming back in myself. I know that sounds silly but there you go.

As for Matthew Perry himself, a tragic ending to an already difficult life, I hope he's in peace now.

    RIP Mr Perry.

Sad to hear of the untimely death of Matthew Perry. I've seen very little of Friends but I did have one former co-worker say that I reminded them of Chandler Bing. I assume this was on account of my dry wit and sarcasm. This SNL skit I've always found hilarious:

    Be more gullible.

Oh dear that is tragic, I watched Friends back in the day when it originally aired. Funny guy though I was well aware of his personal issues., he did not look well during the Friends Reunion Speciall that aired a few years ago.

    R.I.P. Matthew Perry.

I’m reminded of just how popular “Friends” was (and continues to be) at-least once a week when I pass by “The Friends Experience” here in Manhattan, New York (which happens to be located across the street from my old college). There is almost always a line of ticket holders waiting to get inside to see the various recreations from the program, so this is a big loss for millions of people.

Oddly perhaps, I remember Matthew Perry mostly from The Odd Couple remake from several years ago. While, unfortunately, CBS keep moving it around their schedule – making it very hard to find some weeks – I thought Perry made a worthy “Oscar Madison” and the program stayed fairly true to the classic 1970-1975 iteration while still trying to do its’ own thing.

Like most people, he had his demons, but – as far as I can tell – he took responsibility for them and tried to aid other people. Which is the best that anyone can ever do.

♫.. And all the time you thought it would last
Your life, your friends would always be
Until they're drunk away or shot away or die away from you. ♫

    RIP “Chandler” (Matthew Perry)

I've never heard of that before but I don't think Eon would ever cast an American or Canadian in the role of James Bond. Cubby Broccoli was certainly dead set against it, believing it wouldn't work.

Because the media will really print anything.

Get info from legit sites like screen daily, Deadline, Hollywood Reporter, Variety. Those are the entities that EoN would leak to and/or feed info to.

Yes, I guess they were exceptions to the rule. I also remember Burt Reynolds being considered around the time of LALD and Adam West was considered at one point too. Thankfully, none of that ever came to pass though.

So I just cleaned out my late, great better half's closet. This January it'll be three years since she passed, and I put that off for far too long. Emotional thing to do, but necessary if I want to move forward. She'd want that. RIP, dear soul mate.
