I always thought everyone pronounced it the latter way, but apparently lots of Americans pronounce it the former way.
Those people are also confused.
You would think Craig had just been announced as the next Bond or something. ;)

I recently read an article on Daniel hating the spotlight that came with his casting (understandably) and it's a shame EON didn't push him to do more films because he could still have been believable as Bond
A lot of folks seem keen on a Dalton or Brosnan comeback, which of course won't happen, but it seems like the older Bond thing is catching on. Maybe it's the parade of Liam Neesons and Tom Cruises that changed tastes?
Probably. Not to mention Harrison Ford coming back both as Han Solo and Indiana Jones, or Michael Keaton as Batman. I think people would still see another Dalton or Brosnan movie simply because it’s a James Bond movie.
Yeah, he should have done more than 5 Bond films. At least, 7 like Moore.
Would have been great, and at least for me would have made NTTD a bit more impactful. He only really got one straight-up "This guy is James Bond" part in Spectre. Before that there was a lot of emotional turmoil and "becoming Bond" or "resurrecting", which was fine, but he could have enjoyed a couple more adventures at his peak. A couple more classic-style films would have been lovely.

Yeah, I do envisage those films in my head sometimes. But what's certain is, the films would have had Bond as we knew him in CR & QoS.
As much as I wish the Craig era had done things differently, I don't think another stand alone mission or two would have added anything, and this aspect of the Craig era broadly holds together well. It'll actually be interesting seeing what they do with the next Bond throughout his tenure with this in mind.
Absolutely - another three films of that before the shift into SF? I can barely articulate how much I want that, man! :D

I consider Bloodstone and Goldeneye Reloaded and maybe Goldfinger in 007 Legends as some of those missions between QOS and SF.
I do like the look of this but I hope they replace Ana De Armas's character well, she and Daniel really bounced off each other well in the first one
Secondary may be the wrong word, because if he isn't the lead, who is? But it's just such a balanced ensemble that really shares between each other.
And ridiculous because it's really more like he is playing someone playing a detective. He alludes to it in the trailer with the Clue joke, but he really doesn't do a huge amount of investigating in the first film. As he describes it himself, he tracks the facts and then "strolls to the conclusion" (or whatever the exact quote is). And even after seeing it three times, the build-up to him opening his mouth the first time and that southern drawl coming out is so fantastic.
I really am looking forward to this. Plus, seeing Knives Out on a TV reminded me how atmospheric it was in the cinema and made me want to see this one on a big screen even more.
It feels like Craig is centre stage a bit more in that trailer, but that may just be how the trailer is cut of course.
