How many times have you seen you most watched bond film? Doesn't have to be till the end of the film, maybe at least over half way because sometimes you put a film on and you fall asleep.
I've watched Dr No hundreds of times. For a guess i would say 500 times at least.

I used to keep count, but over the years I have stopped and now I really don't know. Probably FRWL. Certainly nothing like 100 times though! That's dedication @001

Like your good self Nackers I've given up on counting how many times I've watched the Bond films.
I've viewed all the films at least forty times, but for Octopussy that number is considerably greater. A conservative guess would be 200+.

    It's clearly Bond's all time high. ;-)

FYEO probably 50-60 times at least, 4 times this year already.

Goldeneye, probably about 200 times in the last 10-15 years :s. I know quite a big portion of the script off by heart.

e.g. Bond's third line in the film is "I had to stop in the bathroom" and his second line after the opening titles is "the next girl".

Probably OHMSS for me, I videoed it off the telly back in 1986 and watched it many times before going out and buying it as my first ever proper Bond VHS video, and as it was my only video for about six months I watched it many, many times.
Trying to work out an estimated total figure is fairly hard, I've been watching roughly 2 Bond films a week for the past 25 years (yes I am rather sad and need to get out more) so if we say that is roughly 5 OHMSS a year (considering over the 25 years the viewings will of got less frequent with the additional new films released by the franchise) so for the accumulated 26 year period that brings it to 130, on top of that I always watch OHMSS every Christmas and while some of these will of been absorbed by my regular twice weekly slots I think it would be fair to add another 6 to the total bringing it to 136 plus a few TV screenings (I like watching them just to see whats been cut...oh and to see where they put the ad breaks) I would say I've seen it about 140 times...blimey I was expecting it to be much higher, guess I know what I'll be watching later. :)

CR, maybe 20 times. I do all of them at once, or in groups. I feel like a slacker amongst you freaks. I gotta get on that!
  • gosh - i feel humbled by you guys - over the years frwl, goldfinger, dr.no and both the TD outings rank high on my repeat viewing list.

i'd like to know the opposite of the thread question as well. What is your least watched Bond movie, the one you try to avoid at all costs? And please hold off on DAD that is a given.

I haven't a clue. It must be well into the 100's I'd guess and I really have no idea which film it would be either, well not Die Another Day...

I'm not one for watching *any* film to the excess of hundreds of times, however as I've been watching TB since I was about 5, I've probably watched it annually at least so maybe 20-30 times. No other Bond film will come close for me in terms of viewing stats. Had I known as a kid this would be a thing, I'd have kept count.

Being so used to constant new information and entertainment on the Internet, I find it increasingly difficult to sit down and pay full attention to 2-hour films that I've already seen, even if they're A+ films. Not that I've never watched any Bond films more than once, but I try to wait at least a few months before watching one particular film again. I prefer to do marathons every so often.

But to answer the question, I think the one I've watched the most so far is either FRWL, OHMSS, TWINE, DAD or CR. As for the amount of times, probably somewhere around 10.

    Ha, QFT!

Spy is definitely one of my favourite Bond flicks and easily the one I've watched the most since and including when I was a tiddler - runners-up would be OHMSS and MR, I'd guess. But I've probably seen Spy... hmmm... I'd say probably betwen 30 and 40 times.

Crikey, thinking about it, that's a lot... :O

WOW! And I thought I was a fan of Bond... some of you have seen some of his movies alot!
Anyway, I've probably seen "Dr. No", "Goldfinger", "You Only Live Twice", "Goldeneye", and "The World is Not Enough" the most. Not sure how many times, but it's been alot.

    Quantum of Solace edging 20..

    Casino Royale around 10..

Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Goldfinger around 5-10

    FRWL around 5.

And the rest all around 3ish, though I'd admit I haven't finished a few of Moore's.

I don't watch it much, as you can see. I get a 'craving' here and there.

I have no idea how many times i have watched any particular Bond movie? Never even thought about it to be honest. But i do tend to try and watch the entire series before a new Bond movie is released! So i am guessing that this year will be no different? October is gonna be a busy month! :D
  • Hard to say off hand, Live and Let Die may be my favorite but it doesn't necessarily indicate it's my most viewed release

Moonraker may well be up there, it's as stupid as hell but there's so much going on, that I've seen it countless times and could may well be #1 Viewed, I couldn't really supply a number as it's been seen so many times and 32 years since it's release, probably more than 200 and less than 500 I would imagine, and even then it could may well be more. I must be a freakin' masochist 8-|

It'd be CR for me, but I've got no idea how many times I've seen it. I was too busy staring at Vesper to count... :\">
  • I fail to see the attraction sometimes but in any event if you enjoyed her in Royale I strongly suggest you check out Green in The Dreamers, it would be a god send for anyone who really has the hots for the actress or just wants to see her with 'limited attire'. I saw it a few months back and made a suggestion at the time

I must have seen LTK over 100 times. Maybe not that much actually, but at least 50 times. I remember the 1st time I watched it, I couldn't see it at the cinema because I couldn't get in (too young), but I got the video years later. Ah the 90s.
  • The video release on VHS had all the tasty bits taken out until the special edition DVD a few years later, I've seen License to Kill maybe 200, 250 times, most of those were the cut version perhaps, it was just as well when they released it in it's unrestricted glory

I think the one I watched most is TMWTGG, the best of all the series, I think. I must have watched it at least 150 times. However I've watched every Bond film at least 20 times, even MR and DAD, the ones I like the least, in that order.
  • That's the thing though isn't it, we are aware such titles are nonsense but we still have the need to replay them again every so often, but Golden Gun is actually a very good release

Incidentally one of my favorite movies of all time is The Great Escape

    Let me illustrate..

I used to keep count, as many others here, because I knew I was going to see these films over and over again when I got through the first viewing of the series. But I have to admit, not watching the films at the same frequency as before, I've lost count. I do on the other hand know that FRWL, GF, OP and FYEO are the one's I've seen the most. All of these ranks high on my favourite list - with FRWL as number one.
