One thing is certain: A Casablanca screening would mean I could die happy.

If you're ever in the Boston area in February, the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge runs a Casablanca marathon every year for one weekend around Valentine's Day. I went to college in the area, and thanks to the Brattle, my first ever viewing of Casablanca was on the big screen. It's an unparalleled experience.
I live in northern Pennsylvania, so I'm not THAT far, but with college I won't be able to go anywhere near there. That is the perfect film for Valentine's Day though, it being the greatest romance ever captured on celluloid, and always will be. You are quite lucky to have that experience, and it was on your first watch where all the emotions are the most pure on top of it all.

It would be one of the greatest moments of my lifetime if I ever get to see it on the big screen, and one hopes that As Time Goes By, my wish will come true. ;)

My most-watched Bond film used to be DAF (roughly in the sixties by now I reckon, not counting broadcast TV), followed closely by GF, LALD & OHMSS. But of late I find that TLD & TND are threatening to overtake that number... in a year's time or so possibly. :D

LOL, there are only two movies I've watched a hundred times or more: Star Wars & Enter The Dragon, but then, the latter is just a martial arts version of Dr. No, eh? :-?

My mother always had them on when we were kids, she initially got me into Bond had various different versions hard back, paper back of Flemings Bond novels also. Was quite obsessed with Bond at a very early age.

Have the Special Edition of Enter the Dragon great movie, just wish Bruce had fought Bolo in the movie, though read Bruce was often challenged off camera during the making of the film. Have the special Edition of Game of death too with the restored footage, just remembered John Barry did the soundtrack for Game of death.

    Yep. Another Lee-Bond connection.

I honestly have no idea. I generally reach for GF or DAF, and have been doing so for years. Lately I've been overdosing on the spectacular YOLT blu-ray.
Maybe 100-plus times each for my three favourite Connery classics.
Even though I like the Craig films the least, its actually the Brozzer films that I watch the least. I don't like the Craig films, but I don't tire of them. They are quite watchable, but decidely not what I want from Bond films, but I watch them anyway.

They are new. Different. No mystery there. The mystery for ME is why you don't watch TND more... arguably the best of the big-fun Bonds. =D>

That's it exactly, the Craig films are still very newish, and each one does have its moments.
Broz doesn't work for me as Bond. None of his films get much play. I prefer the 62-89 period, but especially the 62-79 stretch -- and the 62-71 films,of course are on a pedestal with only two other films, Planet of the Apes (1968) and Godfather (1972).
The orignal Bonds, original Apes and Godfather -- the greatest films ever made. IMHO of course.

I can't fault that for a classic movie series list. =D>
  • I'm pretty sure I've watched Goldfinger something like 5 or 6 times in the past 18 months or so (since my Bond fandom reignited). It was the one I picked to start rewatching them, and I've shown it to a friend who hadn't seen any Bond movies.

Although according to my system (a Bond film to celebrate an actors' birthday in off-years, Bondathon in film years), On Her Majesty's Secret Service looks to make a play on the crown as the years go by, as it's logically the only film I can watch on the Lazenator's birthday.

Probably Diamonds Are Forever or Thunderball. I've lost count, to be honest...

To be honest, I've lost count of how many times I've watched my favourite Bond films. Even DAD, which is at the bottom of the pile, I've still probably seen two dozen times!

I had a select few, maybe ten of the films, when I was a kid, so I had a lot of repeat viewings. I haven't watched any Bond film an insane number of times, but if I had to guess which one I watched the most out of the ones I owned, it would probably have to be LTK.

  • My most-watched Bond film is probably Skyfall (it's the only one I kept track of), which I watched 24 times. I HAVE NO LIFE :))

Are those your most-watched and least-watched?

Probably most watched is Live and Let Die, I've seen that loads. Least watched would definitely be Quantum of Solace, seen it once, never want to see it again.

IDK how many times but the 2 Bond films I watched the most are The World Is Not Enough & Moonraker. Those are my top 2 Bond films

With GE being released on blu-ray a few months ago, I can't say how many more times I've watched it. It just never gets old for me.

I don't think I've watched any Bond movie more times than Star Wars V or VI but it's only because I own them recently. Perhaps my most watched are GF, OHMSS, CR, and SF, but no more than 7 or 8 times each.

LICENCE TO KILL was one of the early Bond films I got into, thus probably the one I watched most for awhile. I no longer rate it highly, but it's probably the closest thing I feel for Bond on a nostalgic note.

A toss between my 2 favorites "OHMSS" and "Casino Royale".
I've actually watched CR 14 times and there was a time I watched OHMSS once every 5 or 6 months.

My wife will go to Hawaï for 2 weeks in november. While alone with the kids, I plan to:

    -Watch OHMSS
    -Watch CR
    -Watch Lincoln
-Watch King Kong (Peter Jackson's version)
    -Watch Cowboys and Aliens

Chances are I won't miss her all that much!

Thunderball is my favorite of all time and I've seen it easily over 50 times. The other 'big four, for me (No, Russia, Goldfinger) over 30 times.

Majesty is growing for me, over twenty times. Hate to admit, but like that better than Diamonds and Twice.

That's not something you need to be ashamed of. OHMSS is miles ahead of DAF and simply one of the very best Bond films.

I agree. OHMSS ranks highly for me and I wouldn't be ashamed of that statement whatsoever.
  • Whatever was said before, it would have to be a choice between Live and Let Die and Moonraker. Can't get enough of those two releases, but then you'd have say The Man with the Golden Gun, The World Is Not Enough and Octopussy some distance behind

I like action in Bond. Those releases that can keep the interest and eyes on the screen and you never really get bored. All those above titles do just that, even if there is some overuse of humor (Moore) here and there, but still all great viewing, but MR and LALD would be far out in front in 'most watched', without question

@Baltimore_007, I don't recall your thoughts on it, but being a fan of action in Bond films, what do you think of QoS, action-wise?
