    Is their a reason why some people are made moderators over others? Some notable members seem to be getting overlooked.

    Yes, I am sure there is a process by the admins and owners. It is not something you can ask to become (my impression). And as it is part of the site's personnel, so to speak, we do not need to know the steps involved with that or be part of that process.

    Being a moderator is like being a volunteer firefighter; you have to show courage in the face of danger, and do it for free.

    Two psychology tests, five physical tests, obstacle courses, ... It's a tough selection. I lost two fingers and my ego in the process.
