Daniel Craig needs facelift to continue as Bond?!!!

I guess this should be placed in the 'absolute nonsense' file and never seen again, but, even so, it's one of the weirdest/funniest Bond items I've ever read...

https://www.showbizspy.com/article/277571/daniel-craig-needs-face-lift-reprising-bond-role.html

Longer item here:

Well if two sites are reporting it, it must be true! :D

DC just needs slightly longer hair... The U.S. Marine Corps buzz-cut he sported in SKYFALL was too short.

(Although Bond DOES get a buzz-cut in the novel Live and Let Die once he arrives in the States...)

I find it sort of reassuring that nobody so far takes this piece of "news"seriously. It gives me hope in mankind.

To give this its own thread is a bit rich. I still can't decide whether it's even fit for the rumour bin. But then, perhaps we have any early contender for 'Strangest Bond24 rumour'. Watch this face space...

It's funny, I was looking at a pic of him the other day actually wondering if he'd had a bit of a nip and tuck.

If so it was a bad one.

    They often are!

My conclusion though was that he hadn't.

Yours was good, though. (Thinking avatar, I know some would wonder unless I explained that.)

I heard rumors he was getting some nip tuck done to bring his ears in back so they don't stick out as much.

I hope I did not cause that. Sorry, Dan. Your ears are fine the way they are.

He may not read this, but just say it in a normal voice. With those ears, he can hear you.

    Oops, sorry again.

    No, @QBranch. @benny meant @Murdock.

I hope that isn't true. Dan and I share the same ears (I call them homing signals) so if he goes and does this I'll start getting self-conscious about it. ;)

Craig said it himself during CR: "I'm all ears".

LOL, wouldn't it be a bit late anyway? They were thrown right into the face of the world already . ;)

Brady, your ears are fine. One of your best traits

Well, there are upsides. My ears sometimes pick up radio signals and allow me to listen to at least 11 SeriousXM stations free of charge at any given time.

I gotta' say, he looked OLD in Skyfall. But I like an older Bond so what do I care.

I think a facelift is a bit extreme but I do think they should pay special attention to his style and grooming with the objective being making him the look the best he can and not younger. There are two scenes that my girlfriend says that he looks his best; both are in Casino Royale. They are when Bond breaks into M's flat and when he is at dinner with Vesper following the card game. In both scenes his hair appears slightly darker, not black; it's short but not Skyfall short and his eyebrows are more visible and defined. One thing that I've heard several women say is that there are time that his brows are so light that it gives him a brutish appearance. The truth is Craig is not a traditionally handsome man so grooming is that much more important

I say make his hair longer, exactly how it was in QoS. That haircut was perfect and suited his features well.
