I hadn't seen a thread like this on the forum yet, so I thought I'd post it and have it serve as a fun little game for all of us to play. The title is rather self-explanatory, but I will outline it further. I will name one James Bond character, and we will each give our nicknames for them. The format will be as such:

[First name of character] "Place nickname here" [Last Name of character]

These nicknames can be either earnest or simply meant for fun and laughs; anything goes. The first character to take the stage is none other than 007 himself: James Bond

My nickname for him: James "The Bulldog" Bond, to reflect how much of a survivor he is.

Feel free to join in and post as many nicknames for James as you can think up. :)

    James "Big Cojones" Bond

Perhaps many of his adversaries might think of him as James "F***ing" Bond.

James "Always On The Run" Bond

James "I Don't Always Kill But When I Do I Prefer To Be A Blunt Instrument" Bond

Great idea @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I may need to dwell on this for a while, but in the meantime these two sprang to mind.

James "The shining Knight" Bond, because he always rescues the damsels in distress.

James "Fully cocked" Bond, because he's always ready to shoot his gun...and for his fine example of male stamina during his Piz Gloria exertions. ;)

I must say I love this one of yours, @pachazo: James "I Don't Always Kill But When I Do I Prefer To Be A Blunt Instrument" Bond
You didn't settle for just "Blunt Instrument" Bond - you gave us the full background! Really made me laugh. :D

I had almost forgotten about this thread. If there is further interest we can move on to more characters and do this regularly.

I'll let a few others get in with their entries, and then move on after that.

'Le Chiffre' is French for 'The Number', and that is his official nickname, as seen on screen in CR. Does he also go by this nickname in the novel?

    EDIT: *nickname, not alias.

His wiki page does mention that one too, as well as 'The Figure'. Probably from the novel, which I'm not familiar with (blasphemy), but in the film we can see he's known as 'The Number.'

Hadn't noticed that moniker for him, though. I always assumed they went ahead with The Cypher.
