See there you go. It'll never be a great model but it would have made it much better.

THIS IS A PHOTOSHOPPED IMAGE: THE TOY DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THIS

You could more or less do this yourself: it just requires finding bigger tyres and spacing the wheels out more, I didn't increase the size of the wheels. And painting the doorsill makes such a difference.

I'm very impressed by the level of battle damaged details on the Hot Wheels DB5. Just got mine today.

Nice! I can see where the flaws are on the actual item. It would definitely look better with bigger tyres and the wheels spaced out. Looking at it now on display though, it still looks great and like many things, when seen in the flesh, the flaws isn't really noticeable.

I plan on getting the OHMSS DBS next!

I have the original Living Daylights version and I was never hugely happy with it to be honest. I just doesn't get the look of the car.
This one has much improved detailing though.

I never had the original one because I wasn't a fan of the cheap Corgi wheels on the old ones. Same for the original OHMSS DBS. No doubt these latest movie edition ones from Corgi have their flaws, but they are imo better than the original ones with some nice improvements in detail. The V8, DBS, Lotus Turbo, BMW Z3 and the BMW 750... I think they all look better than the original or the Directors Cut version from before.

Here's a video I did of the Corgi V8 since there were none on YouTube.

Anyone have one of these? One of my few 007 Holy Grail items. (along with the Q2 Swatch, Piz Gloria snowglobe, and the OHMSS and Moonraker folios).

What makes the Q2 Swatch a holy grail item for you? They're not exactly rare, and are now less than half the price of what I paid for the red one back in August.

The theory11 playing card decks would be a holy grail item for me, because I loved the brand for a long time before they had any 007 products, and so now that they do it's something I really cherish. Think they're $9, and still extremely available.

And here I thought a holy grail was something I've been searching for every week for 5-10 years - something which, I have come to terms with the idea that I may never succeed in attaining.

Maybe that is more the proper definition of it, more in line with it's namesake anyways.

That's beautiful - was it a Bentley exclusive? I think I saw one at the Bond exhibition a London Bentley showroom ran a couple of years ago.

Those little people are a bit out of scale: Bentleys aren’t quite that big! :)

'cause I still can't afford one! The Swatch site still shows 220- each; and the costs on eBay are enormous. So if you know where they are 50% less, I'd be interested in seeing that.

You can get them from Little Lead Soldiers; 89 lbs each. just heard from the guy there, they still do 'em. they're now in France and shipping is a killer.

I love that Bentley model, very nice addition to a Bond car collection. Would look great alongside the Fleming novels as a display.
I looked at getting a model kit to make during lockdown but was a bit shocked at the price. I'll get one, eventually!

Wow, Little Lead Soldiers- I haven't heard of them since the 90s I think.

His email read; ''Cost £89 each. Yes we do ship to the USA. Usually ready to ship in 4 days from order confirmation. Send by French Colissimo poste which can take between 5 and 10 days to the USA.Cost of postage would be £28.50p.''

In other words, this would cost more than a Corgi. But I really like 'em.

And then you have to buy the paints!

I lucked out with the Revell Bentley, spotting it in the window of a charity shop for £8. I've just treated myself to the Moonraker shuttle kit for my next project.

I’m sure there are plenty of Bentley 4 1/2 litre models out there if you’re going to need to paint it anyway.

what are the other ones? I'd like to get Moonraker, OHMSS and Casino, my three favorites; but I have every 007 title by every other (that I know of!) in my Paperwhite.

I could be wrong but I think the only ones they haven't done yet are YOLT, TMWTGG, FYEO, and OPATLD. I'd like to get Moonraker as well!

I have this one - got it in TK Maxx. Sends me into fits of hysterics every time I make it play the theme.
