As I'm abroad in Japan and won't be able to obtain the soundtrack on Friday. I wanted to ask you how will you be buying/listening the soundtrack and will it be possible to put it on Youtube, Soundcloud, etc.

Well we don't know yet whether the digital release is on the same day. Pre-orders are currently for CD only.

    Ok. Thanks @antovolk

Don't just pick up the paper. Take it to the counter where they'll give you the dvd.
Will watch it when I get home.

Went to Tesco to get the DVD this morning, watching it now. It's a DVD rom. Immediately the theatrical trailer plays and then the following is featured on the main menu:
Video Vlogs - Behind the scenes in Austria; Director Sam Mendes; The Supercars; Day of the Dead Festival; Introducing Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci; Action plus a link to the James Bond Youtube channel that opens up other videos and trailers most of us I'm sure have already seen.

About SPECTRE - Text synopsis on screen of Bond's 24th outing.

Trailers - first teaser trailer for the film and the theatrical trailer (not final trailer recently released)

Gallery - 14 previously released stills to promote the film.

Bluray steelbooks - mini trailer promoting the new blu-ray steelbooks (previously released)

Bond in Motion - chance to win a VIP tour of Bond in Motion exhibition in London

Link to spectre-tickets.co.uk to book SPECTRE tickets to watch the film.

So basically, for us ardent Bond fans, nothing new at all on this behind the scenes disc. Not sure I was really expecting anything special from this free disc anyway.

The disc can be picked up until the end of Monday from any Tesco store.

Thanks @Jamesc26 I thought too that it won't be anything new.

    Thanks

It's nothing we haven't seen already: the trailer/teaser and a few of the production vblogs. I wouldn't bother unless you really want these on DVD (encoded very poorly in my opinion) or want to send off for the poster. The article featuring Lea is perhaps a bit more noteworthy (but even this is debatable and nothing particularly new).

Yeah, this is for people who havn't been as invested as we have during production. Nothing to see that we don't already know.

Something I noticed about that JR programme. Casino Royale and Skyfall were referenced throughout, but Quantum of solace only got a brief mention. What's that about?

Nice to see Denbigh and Bond interact.

Denbigh comes off as a pr*ck.

Damn, I must have missed something. Was this early in the special?

Fairly early yes. You flip your eyes and it's gone. He does not say much, but the way it sounds.
Pretty bland special. I'd have liked if Ross got to inject his own personality in it a bit more. Also they kept reusing the same old clips. i also hate how Bond specials just rely on playing the same old clips from TSWLM and GF on loop. It's kinda infuriating.

In other news, here are Spectre's productions notes. It's a pretty in-depth document:

There was a lot of commonplaces and not much else really. But I guess that has to be expected with such kind of "documentary". In the end, it's all about Jonathan Ross driving the Aston Martin.

Yup - pretty damn detailed. Thanks!

At least, it confirms the title is indeed SPECTRE all caps :)

Interesting if a bit trivial thing about Denbigh (don't know if it needs spoiler tag, but here it is:
his codename is C. Which is the title of the head of MI6.

What's the green thing on the back of Mr White's hand at around 2:07?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!

First image of OHMSS a few seconds before the end..
And QOS exists only thanks to Mr White and the car chase, and nevertheless gets far less screen time than DAD for instance.

Ok, nowadays you're a Bond fan when you know George Lazenby. In 20 years, you're a Bond fan when you know Craig did QOS :)

I am getting a little bit of an "existential crisis" right now, as I just realized that the difference between UK release date and the rest of the world release date means that it will be really hard to avoid some things about SPECTRE..

With Skyfall I was spoiled that M dies so...let's hope nothing big will be spoiled for me this time (even though if a movie is good I'll enjoy it regardless of it being spoiled)

Research has shown that films are better received when spoiled beforehand.

I kind of guessed when I learned that Ralph Fiennes' character was named Gareth Malory. I guess Miles Messervy would have been too obvious. And also, in the novel TMWTGG which SF is inspired of (freely), there's an assassination attempt on M and it is mentioned that his predecessor was murdered. Even in the trailers the inspiration was obvious. So it came as no surprise to me that Judi Dench's M would die.

    M dies?

But in all seriousness, I knew virtually every spoiler in Skyfall before it came out (having read the scene by scene Wikipedia synopsis just before I left to the theatre), and the movie ended up being one of my favourites to date. Spoiling myself didn’t wreck or weaken the cinematic experience for me whatsoever. I would like to know a lot less going into Spectre however.

Daniel Craig Talks About Working with Irish Actor Andrew Scott

BOND star Daniel Craig reveals 007 is shaken and stirred by his younger new boss, played by Dubliner Andrew Scott, in upcoming blockbuster Spectre.

The Sherlock actor is Denbigh, the head of a government agency tasked with restructuring MI6, who clashes with the super spy — and Craig reckons Scott was the only man for the tough job.

He said: “Andrew is tasked with squaring up to and talking down to Bond and that is no easy feat.

“He’s younger, totally bureaucratic, runs by a completely different set of rules and takes no s*** from Bond. And he does a fantastic job.

“He has this commanding presence that demands attention. He’s imposing and Bond is somewhat threatened, irritated and maybe overawed by this young intruder.

“And it’s not only 007, Andrew has to lay down the law with Ralph Fiennes’ M as well, and he does a really great job. I was impressed.” With little detail regarding the plotline, sketchy reports claim Bond digs deeper into his past, discovering dark truths, and goes on to infiltrate a shady organisation called Spectre, headed by mysterious bad guy Franz Oberhauser (Christoph Waltz).

And best known for his villainous role as Moriarty on BBC’s Sherlock, rumours suggest Scott will also turn out to be an evil player.

I think when it comes to this film in particular, for me I found all this especially interesting, with the script leak and all. Yes I have read the most recent leaked draft but that doesn't as much spoil the experience for me because it's exactly like when you have these super popular book adaptions - you're excited about how they'll bring the story to the screen. If anything, in a similar way to how people enjoy these adaptions and the process, it made following the production and the marketing extrenely enjoyable, as the scenes literally came to life. And of course I can't wait to see the finished product.

I for one have avoided any spoilers beyond the sort of thing on the itv special. But I'm looking forward to talking about the early troubled versions and stuff once I've seen the film.
Can't believe we only have a week left.
