I'll say it again: I wish they'd make short Bond films in between movies. Serious ones, like the short stories of Fleming. And self contained.

That would be fantastic. Perhaps even just a young Bond series, especially with them exploring Bond's past in Skyfall and Spectre. It'd be great "must see" material to build off of for the movies.

They could also show a great number of things they generally don't have time to show in full movies: everyday work at MI6 for instance. Which was featured in the novels and made interesting.

The Heineken ad is really neat. This is how you can homage the arse out of Bond and get away with it. It's a lot of fun. Really nice to see DC in full Technicolor for once!

I was actually thinking of Crow's 'Tomorrow never dies'. Don't exactly know why, though. Maybe it's because it's in the same key.

Just thought I'd let you all know that My Subscribers copy of Empire arrived in the post today -it includes a SPECTRE Special in their words "38 pages of definitive intel on the biggest, most explosive Bond ever made" plus lots of adverts for Bond related products. I'm not going to spoil it for you but its well worth a read.....
