Bond films that you love, but most others dislike?

IDK if there is a thread on this already if there is please send it my way.

Is there a James Bond film that you really love that most most fans and critics dislike? for example The World is not Enough, Moonraker, A View to a Kill, The man with golden gun, Die Another Day are Bond films that come to mind when asked what are the worst Bond films. Some of those films are bad, but I think that some of those films are great and I really love. 3 of those films are in my top 10 (TWINE, MR, AVTAK), two of those films are in my top 3 (TWINE, MR).

So I ask you the same question. Are there Bond films or is there a particular Bond film that you love, but most fans and critics dislike? Please comment I love to know

    I searched and couldn't find a thread like this.

    I've seen TWINE receive some hate on these boards - granted, that goes without saying for any Bond film - but I quite loved it. Excellent elongated PTS followed by a real good time throughout. My only stand-out complaint with the film was the finale between Bond and Renard - so underdone. Renard is invincible and can't feel a thing, yet it seems like Bond is thrashing him around the submarine with ease. I just think they should have dished out a real brutal hand to hand fight and received a better death than what he did in the final film.

    Also, DAD. Do I love it? No. Do I enjoy the good parts of it? Yes. A good portion of the PTS - "Saved by the bell." kills it for me, at times, though - Cuba, the sword fight in the club, and some other miscellaneous bits were real enjoyable, and I try to place those moments over the horrendous moments we have all come to know and despise: some of those cringe worthy one-liners, the terrible CGI, and so on.

    TWINE. It's my second favourite Brosnan film after GE. Not a perfect movie by any means but a good entry for me.

    I enjoy TWINE, and QOS. I understand the criticisms of both, but I enjoy them.

    I don't know it it be smart to see because for years people on the forums include me and some media whant another Goldeneye but it look like Goldeneye be rankt lower in people there list/not end in Top 5/hate it more. Something simalar i see happen with a not favorite Bond movie of me but loved by a lot of people Goldfinger. Whyle one element why i less like GF i like to see in one or two upcoming new Bond movies. I don't like the farm scene in GF where Sean Bond be to long alone and almoost do nothing, whyle i think the Bond of those days need to be alone. Of course also because GF look like he don't any thing about it whyle i think a more present villian not do that. A View To Kill get because of this more credit for me be the alone moment works better already.

    Those days there is more love for OHMSS and above list isn't much changed with exeption GE, QOS enter the list and Die Another Day is gone. Whyle i think there is stil more hate for DAD, since my 2009 rank i also rank the movie lower. Whyle in 2003 i start with ranking it 4/20, but there happend a lot since then include that i only have seen it 5-6 times.

    QoS - Think this is a good movie, some good action and set pieces. Despite the well documented failings of the script due to the writers strike i think Quantum is a technically brilliant film.

    Never really viewed it as a stand alone movie, its blatantly the second half of a film split in two. Casino certainly works better as a stand alone movie.

    I wouldn't say that I love Tomorrow Never Dies, but I do enjoy it, and finding a fellow TND fan is quite difficult in these forums sometimes....

    I'm a Quantum fan. I don't know how else to put it; I really enjoy the movie. Especially the PTS.

    Well I stand corrected. ;)

    TND has always been popcorn munching fun for me. I understand that it isn't a milestone in storytelling or acting, but I've always thought TND featured Brosnan's best performance, a suitably hammy villain in Elliot Carver and some great action set pieces.

    GFor your eyes only is my favourite Bond film. Bond has to figure out who the real bad guy is. One of the few tines Moore is bad ass.

    At least in MI6 community, GF, which is hated by a majority.
    I don't know if its because it was the first Bond film I watched (with my gone grandfather, which adds a sentimental attachment to it), but it's 7th in my ranking.
    I know it's not of the highest quality, nor the more entertaining, but I always enjoy it.

    Oh, put me down for Goldfinger as well. My #4 favorite Bond film - it's a classic in many regards. How people can hate it is beyond me.

    On the opposite, I understand why they hate it (slow pace, campy at times, has huge plotholes), while I don't know exactly is why I like it. But as you said, it is a classic by any means.

    I don't like when the United States has anything to do with James Bond. It's not that I have anything against the setting, but I immediately think, "oh, they put it in the United States, because Bond movies sell well there". Takes me out of the movie.

    No hate, ;) You guys are more powerful than us Canadians. We're just a bunch of tree people with polar bears, diamonds, and maple syrup.

    DAF and TWINE. Both are just outside my Top 10. DAF is by far my favorite "guilty pleasure" Bond. And I'll never understand why TWINE gets so much hate.

    I also think OP, while not fantastic, is way better than it gets credit for. For me, it's Moore's third best after TSWLM and FYEO. Solid espionage plot and some great suspense (the whole "clown" thing isn't even faintly comedic - it's tense and scary).

    I know it's awful, but for some wierd reason, I love this film.
